They called, sounded like bad reception. Couldn't understand a word. They closed after 1 min

Called me and also left me no message. The silence ended on my voicemail after 2 mins 15 secs.

Said they were from Citibank, then proceeded to ask me personal information to identify myself. Call ME then ask for my personal details??? Very suspect.

On 26 Sept received a call from this number but they didn't leave a message. I'd call it 'suss'

Asking for me by name. Claim to be from Citibank. Want to check if my details are current.
I refused their request for this information. I told them I would only do this by mail. My address I know they're suppose to have

Filipino female called me at about 7 .15 claiming to be from Citibank and wanting to talk to my husband about "personal banking". Trouble is, we don't do personal banking with Citibank. I told her I didn't believe her and hung up.

Garbled synthetic voice after a pause.

Citibank, cold calling for up to date contact details, but mainly asked for doubling up my credit limit, and low rate transfer, 12.x%.... come on... 12.x% is low rate??

I work for Citibank and confirm that this is actually a number belonging to us. I was called by this number as well asking if I wanted insurance.

When it comes to confirming personal details, the details they ask aren't sufficient enough to do any ID take over, which is why they ask the questions they do. These calls can be annoying but they are legit.

I just got one of these calls from 0280733390. Sigh. Refused to give out any info and ended call.

@MS - if you are indeed from Citibank (how would we know! Seriously!)  your employer's security sucks and is encouraging bad behavior by their customers.

I just received a call from this number too; they tried my mobile first which I declined as I'm in an open plan office, then they called me on my desk phone!! Said they were from Citibank and wanted to follow up on my account and whether there was anyhting they could do to help me. They needed to start by checking my security details... told them I didn't know for sure they were from Citibank and wouldn't be providing my details and hung up.

Reported it to Citibank and they confirmed they hadn't tried to call and to report the call to the Police.

I checked with Citibank to see if they had called me and they hadn't . It was very suspicious to be asked for personal security details when they had rung me! How did they have access to my name and phone numbers and know I use Citibank?

had four of these calls from this nmbr in a month the last one ten minutes ago when you ring back as i did from my private nmbr you get yes its citibank we tried to call its not urgent but we will ring you back,like dont bother,i dont want to talk!!!!

Got a call from this number a few times this week. If they are just selling insurance WHY DON"T THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE.

Rude rude rude..... and annouing

Just received a call from this number - as soon as I answered, first thing I hear is a filipino sounding female recorded message "please hold the line we have a call for this number" so I wait, after about 10 seconds I get the same voice saying "I'm sorry we are still trying to connect the call".... I then hung up.

no way will I be called and then told to wait... what a stupid system!

I got a call from this number. I am a citibank customer but when they called they didn't say anything and after a minute, they hung up. very poor telemarketing citibank..
