It`s Optus Billing services. They were ringing me as I had an overdue bill

It is a automated call, not a real person, letting you know your Optus bill is overdue.

Yes it is OPTUS financial services for an overdue bill which I have told them numerous times that I will be paying it today.

I got a call from this number and i dont know who it is.

ummm i had three missed calls from this number and have never been with optus??? not only that they called my mobile bigpond pre paid modem? wtf who is it?

Every couple of days I get a call from this number, and either Private or Unavailable numbers that last for between 12 to 15 seconds and no one ever says anything. If it is Optus, why would they call me every few days and say nothing? If they say nothing, how am I supposed to know it's Optus and that I have an over due bill (which I don't)?

I just got two calls from this number within 5 minutes of each other. Surely that can't be Optus...

they tell you to call 1300309309 but they number disconnects as soon as you call... just call 1300 300 937

This number is definatley Optus! I rang them today to advice of payment and they STILL CALL re: overdue bill!! There system is ridiculous

btw, i work in a call centre, most CCs use an auto dialler system that attempts to maximise efficiency by filtering out the answering machines and always having a customer available for the consultant as soon as they get off a previous call. if you answer and there is noone there you either sound like an answering machine or the machine overestimated how many consultants would be available or more than average number of people answer the phone and theres noone to assign you to.

paid my bill today and you [***] cut off my phone for being two weeks late your service is crap and you get a computer to call me in business hrs which can get a person at my work sacked. how about  you jam it where the sun don't shine u forein [***], you want to talk to me get an australian person to do it and not a [***] talking [***] to do an aussie's job.... you want to run a business in australia pay some one to work 4 u u money hungry basterds and  not replace humans with computers i'd like to see u go into recivership cause your dodgie..................

Had 3 hangup calls from this number today.

Bill was overdue but paid yesterday.

Optus systems and their customer service has seriously declined in the last 18 months or so. Once upon a time they were the best around imho.

Not sure about the others any more, but time is coming to leave this mob I think.

If you are the type of drone worker who cannot be trusted not to take advantage of your employer, then sadly you will probably have to deal with these sort of rules your entire life.

Most of the rest of us eventually learn it's not anyone elses fault we are not trusted. ;-)
