Got a call from this number as well, 26oct 930am. no message left

When you call it back you get a recorded message saying: "you have been contacted by a hosted contact calling service. you may be called again in the future"

I'd say its one of those dodgy companies looking for "donations" for red cross and the similar

Just had a call from this number and it was  call centre working for NRMA roadside letting me know my roadside assistance bill was overdue...!

i've got no idea who it is- i had it call yesterday and today while i was out,no messages- probably is one of those call centres-maybe they subcontract to a few different companies by the look of jacki's contact.

I got a call from this number on 25 October and today 26 October and it did not even ring long enough for me to pick it up.  Tried to return the call and it said something about a host etc.  I tried to text them to say not to call again and it could not be sent.

Got a call on the 26/10/10 at 1:48pm from them answered but they hung up

I've had about 5 calls from this number. Same result as all of the others. I haven't renewed my NRMA Roadside assist this year which was a few months ago so it could be that as someone else mentioned.  They charge too much then charge you again for the callout and the parts. F$%k 'em.

I've called by this number four times since yesterday!!!
At the start of October I was getting calls from 02 8094 6220.  Haven't answered either, but my b/f called the 6220 number back and he said it was AVON...??

Do you think if I called my phone company and asked them not to give out my number, random people/companies wouldn't called me?

This number calls my mobile everyday.Leaves no message. DO NOT CALL ME.

I just missed a call from this number (3 Nov 2010).  As with others, they didn't leave any message.  Is there a way to block all these calls from unwanted numbers?

Had a call today that I actually managed to answer before they hung up - looking for donations for Careflight.

This number calls me daily sometimes several times.

When I answer there is no response, and calling back gets the "hosted call service message". They have left messages on my phone, but nobody speaks, it's just background noise.

It's NRMA trying to get you renewed or buy higher priced services.

Don't bother guys, its a scam. NRMA aren't that unprofessional.
The question is, how do they get their information??? Our numbers and so on.
