3 missed calls. no messages. Who? Why?

Same number called me and hung up.

Rang me twice, no voice mail

Got a call about 5 minutes ago and no message left. This happened a year or so ago and it was a telemarketing company. How do they get our number???

its Aegon  marketing company.. working for insurance for banks etc.. i have been getting same number plus they alternate the numbers.. another lot of numbers are 02-8094-5820
02 8207 9000,  02 8094 4244,  02 8094 4441, 028094442,  and 0280944243 just to name afew.. they then direct you to another number 1300 305 515.. just dont answer the number and report them to scamwatch.

Called, I answered, they hang up, not very friendly

keep getting calls from this number and when i answer they hang up when i ring that number it says thank you for calling avon direct marketing

They have been calling me know for the past two weeks! When I've called back its a marketing company..Just ignoring it now.

this number has called me over 10 times now over the past 3 weeks. I haven't picked up once because I do no know the number. I tried calling back, only the once, only to have the phone not picked up. So annoying!

yes, I got this call too. but I answered to the call. and a woman came out and asked me about English, saying she is on behalf of commonwealth bank. She was not friendly. I asked her who she is. She hang up the phone. I wondered how they got my number. I called commonwealth bank. THe commonwealth back said no clues about this number or the woman.

What's the sense in hanging up when I answer? What are they hoping to gain....except my anger!!

they ring while Im at work through the day, plus when I am home at night. so annoying.

Just got a call from (02) 80944445 today 27 June 2013 at 4.20pm
They asked for my name and the girl on the phone told me that she was calling regarding a letter they put on the mail. I asked her again where she was calling from as her voice wasn't clear and she said: Do you understand my english? So rude so I just hung up the phone.
Don't know how this people got my mobil phone number in the first place:/
