Just had a call from this number, looks like from the same call centre as 0280945850, which was either Westfield or the Commonwealth Bank according to posts on this site.  It annoys me that when the call is unanswered and goes to an answering machine (on which a message is never left) these people probably get paid for making the call since it is "answered".  I believe numbers can be generated at random thus bypassing "do not call" and unlisted numbers.

I've had this number call me about 8 times over the past 10 days. Each time is a hang up when I answer

For he last few weeks I have had many calls from 0280946419 then today the number changed to 0280945817.  Always between 9-5pm so I cannot answer and if they do not have the courtesy to leave a message and tell me where they are calling from I will not be calling the number back.

Yeah that happened to me today once at 9.22am and the other at 9.41am - didnt answer it but glad I came on here and typed in that number

I received a call from this number and hang up a soon as I answered.

I've had this number call me almost daily over the last week. I've only answered it once which was a hang-up. As they don't leave any messages, I won't call them back. From experience I no longer answer any numbers starting with 02- 8094.... as the tend to repeat the above scenario. I'm getting fed up with it and would love to be able to put a stop to it.

Yeah me too! Got a missed call an hour ago from 0280945817, and a few days ago I got a missed call from 0280823090. Presuming they are related. Annoying!

Anybody else with CBA by any chance?

I got 3 missed call from this number. They always call me when I'm not around. SO annoying!

three calls today so far, and total of 7 in the last week.
i have answered one and they hung up
they never leave a message, therefore i am not ringing them back :|

I called the number back and it said something about Avon and insurance agencies and that a member of their staff will return my call (UGH). For further information about the call, call 1300 305 515. soooo annoying.

Hi, I have recieved three calls this week to my mobile from this number. I am on call so its very annoying.I wish they would identify themself or stop calling me!

Just got this number on my work phone in Brisbane, and it's a private number.
No answer.

The last 2 weeks This number has called me about 12 times. At first it was one call every two days but the last few days i have received about 8 calls, I hope there is a way to stop this.

Keep getting rings from this number during the day when im unable to reach my phone. Really starting to annoy me

It's CBA trying to sell insurance. I received the letter. Then missed calls because they were between business hours. They left no message but this is the second time in 2 years I've had them approach me to sell me insurance.

got 4 or 5 times for the last few days. every time i answer it, they hang up. really annoying!
