This number is calling my mobile number which I have not given out. They say they're Suncorp, but where did they get my mobile number from?

Same here. Suncorp has it's Head Office in Brisbane not Sydney so will be ringing Suncorp tomorrow. Their Brisbane number is 07 3362 1222. Guy claimed he was from Suncorp Insurance offering Funeral Cover.

I also had this number call me twice and hang up once I'd answered.
I believe the number belongs to a credit checking agency and I think they are checking the details of people who recently made a credit purchase. I could be wrong but that is what I have attributed it to.

This company also acts as a debt collection agency - so there is a sinister side to this.

This number has been calling me for over 2 weeks multiple times a day, telemarketers trying to sell insurance and other such products I have no interest in getting sick of having my phone ring anywhere between 3-6 times a day!
