just no sound at all then hang up

I have had this same number call me like 2 a day for the last 3 days. I wont answer numbers I don't know. If there important they can leave a voice message. WTF

No message left.

I just got 2 calls from 02 80946400 third day of it  . No message either. Rang back from work phone. Message says they will call me some more. Thats all.

Had them call me about 10 mins ago
If i call them back i get the message:

You have been called by a hosted contact service, you may be called again.

What provider are you guys with? I;m with Optus, maybe it has something to do with that?

They've called me twice today - one just now and one 4 hours ago. I'm with virgin. Same thing happened....i answered both times and nothing was there.

me too, but I've only been contacted once today and once a few days ago (that I can recall) both times missed calls. I'm with telstra though. Could it be for online surveys, do any of you do that?

same number has called 3 times in the last three hours with silence on the other end. . . grrr

yeah, i got a call from this number as well - today at 4:30. is it a canberra number? any of you folks have anything to do with canberra?

i also got a call from this number at 6.32pm today! I wasn't there to answer it though..

Also got called by this number (with Optus). After a few seconds of silence a guy with an Indian accent says he is calling from AMS Australia(?) Would not tell me anything else but asked for my name.

I hung up.

I've been getting calls from this number as well.

This is probably the third time, but I've missed them all.

Each time I call back it says it's from a hosted service and may be called again.

I'm with Vodafone so I don't think it's got anything to do with the phone networks by the sounds of things--anyone actually have any info on these guys?

who the hell are they and i,m not the only one that has been called from hosted contace severce we would like to know who they are and put a stop to it

Exact same for me. I just said he's out and she said will call back another time...

these [***] have called me everyday for the last week, i dont know what they want and i dont answer if i dont know the number. each time they leave a 3 second voice mail with silence.......  my friend said it could be a bank, hes with suncorp and kept getting called but it was a few weeks ago now and hasn't got the number....
