I haven't answers this number yet, but they call me everyday

I answered today and it is a call centre calling on behalf of Suncorp about a Funeral plan package they are trying to sell

This number is continually calling me - I don't answer it any more - pity you cant block it on an iphone

got a call on a workline today 25/07/2011 - hung up as soon as i answered!

Have called every day for the past 2 or 3 weeks now, hang up as soon as I answer.
Called them back and it told me to call their inbound call centre number which is 1800 987 569. Called them and got them to remove my details. Will wait and see if it works!

I received a call Anna Garcia on this number and I have an AVO against my former husband. I suspect he is trying to trace my whereabouts. The caller said they were from GIO insurance and asked me for my address.  I googled this number to see if it was GIO.

I have received 2 to 3 calls everyday for the past week, so sick of it. Can we please stop this happening somehow. I am thinking of charging them of harassment !!!!!!!!!!!! Also how did they get my mobile No?

I've just received my 4th call from this number in a week. So I rang 1800 987 569 and the young man who answered said he will get my details off the list (he asked my name and knew what suburb I was from) but it could take up to 48 hours.

These phone calls are coming from robbers. Criminals access insurance company records, especially contents insurance policies & so know if there is something valuable at addresses of policy holders. The insurance company asks for a business hours address to contact policy holders on so these criminals know where to phone you to see if you are at home. First the criminals phone you at work  & if you answer they then phone your home landline to see if someone answers there & if they get an answering machine or noone amswers the  home phone, they send someone to check if there is actually noone at home & rob you. If the insurance company has a mobile number for you they can instal a tracking device into your mobile phone  just by phoning you. The instalation happens even if you don' t answer your mobile. They track your location via mobile numbers & know if your not at home & then rob you. So everyone should report getting these phone calls to the police (crime stoppers department or whatever they call  it in your State) & don't forget to tell the police the name of your insurance company so the police can track which insurance company's records are being targetted. Some employees of insurance companies are selling your information to criminals. Also criminals are hacking into computer records of insurance companies. Don't let the police or insurance company fob you off & write letters as well as phoning the police especially if you have been robbed after getting these phone calls. Instal video security devices all around your home inside & out like we have & try to ensure there is always someone at home as well & organise "Neighbourhood Watch" with neighbours all around you & up & down your street & surrounding streets so that someone is likely to get photos of them & their vehicles.

I have been called on my mobile twice a day, everyday for the past 3 days.  I have only answered the call once and they hung up as soon as I did. I dont know how they got my number but this sounds like a scam to me!!!

Who are these people. There faceless, unidentifiable and just keep ringing>>

It is from a call centre related to Suncorp and major insurance providers. They want you to call them on a 1800 number probably to sell you insurance or financial products.

They have been calling me constantly.
How do you get them to stop?

i do not know who they are or what they want.... and how did they get my number... i am on the do not call register... please stop annoying me!!
