some one claiming to be from the commonwealth bank offering me cash....

Thank you very much for that info, I now know not to answer, I was shady about the number as I know absolutely no one and have no connections in that area code. I am also with Commonwealth bank so it would make sense that that is the caller

i m from perth.
this number had called me few minutes ago and was claming that he call from commonwealth bank.
He has my name and said the call was being recorded. (He has indian accent if i am not wrong.)
He asked what cover (cover for accident he said) i have and had told me that he cant offer me 'sumthing' (forgive my bad listening) after i told him that i m not a resident of australia.
Finally leaving me confuse and wonder what the reason that fellow calling me for.

Yeah, this is the 3rd missed call from these guys in 2 days.

I've had 3 in the last 2 days, finally answered ad all I could hear was laughing, then they hung up!

I got a call today at 12:20 PM and she was saying something weird from commonwealth bank.
then I said I am not interested (something insurance)

i've received calls from these guys for weeks, however every time i answer they hang up. Really frustrating

got a call from CommInsure selling me insurance, call sounded genuine but from what I know, CommInsure numbers start with 9115 and not 9084...

theyve tried to call me 6 times this week. really annoying

No way, I just googled this number cause I thought something was up. They've called a few times but always hang up when I answer...super dodgy by the sound of it. Make sure you report this.

What happened to the days of funny prank calls? That would be so much more interesting!

And at least they don't say '7 days' when you pick up...
