CITIBANK.  Debt collections department.  I have tried to tell them I have no idea who the person they are asking for is but they call and call.  Always Indian accents.  I have written to the bank telling them to buzz off but they keep calling!!!!

Citibank debt collector calling from this number several times each day.
Leaves a long blank message on my voicemail which costs me money each time.
Each time I call the number I get an error and the calls do not go through.
Now I just answer the call, blow him a raspberry, and hang up.
So now I save money by avoiding voicemails and have resolved never to pay Citibank a dime ever again.

I believe this is a debt collector hired by Bank of Melbourne. This bank withdrew over $22K from my mortgage account without informing me to pay a fraudulent owners corporation claim without the required court documents. I have refused to pay my mortgage until the bank repays the money or takes me to court. The bank knows I have an autoimmune condition that is affected by stress and emailed last week threatening to harass me despite already being told to take me to court.  ASIC is investigating as the Bank of Melbourne breached banking regulations in paying this unauthorized claim.

This number keeps trying to contact me I don't no who it is and what they want.

I just got a call from this number too and i dont even have an account with city bank :s
I said hello and the person hung up without a word ehh...

I have had numerous calls from 02 8098 8500 which I did not recognise so I let it go to message left no message so I Googled it and found it to be Citibank I tried to call it back but I get a message from Telstra saying it is disconnected so the next time they ring I answer only to find out they were ringing from India and could not explain why Telstra said it was disconnected  I then got a direct number to ring which was 1300 369 797 surprise surprise that call is answered by someone living in India, I then asked if there was a number in Australia or an Australian that I could talk to as I found it verry hard to understand them I was told no on both accounts, no wonder Australia is going backwards with unemployment too many Companies having their Call Centres based overseas, and the people very hard to understand and if you interrupt them they are confused apparently they are tutored parrot style. At the end of it all after being told I was behind in my monthly payment I was able to prove that I was actually in advance.  End of rant

Do not recognise this number, called back, received message "Unable to connect this number'. Requir more information.

I pay my bill with citibank yet they still call
Told them never to call again and blocked there number OVER IT

Citibank debt collection from Inda that hide their real number through a deceitful method of programing their PABX phone system to display an Australian disconnected number.
They ring me chasing a debt owed by a person who I've never heard of but they don't believe me and keep ringing.
I hate companies that use foreign call centres and don't support Australia. Profits over jobs.
Report Citibank to Asic and the banking ombudsmen they are a putrid company that only cares about profits.

Dunno, it can't be called back, it says it's disconnected. I just vow never to answer it so I'll never have to find out

Calls slways at night blank message left if any

One or two calls per day from this number. No idea who it is or what they want.try to call back and no answer. Very annoying!!!!
