I also got this call 40min ago. I have been massively applying for a job, and while I was charging my phone at the end of room this phone call somehow jst appeared. If it was one of the company they should leave me a msg or something. But no msg left.

I also got a call from this number - missed it and they didnt leave a voice message.
Any ideas??

I just call a from this number. Pub noise...someone muttered somthing about being Dave from some company and then hanged up in the middle of his own sentence. If Citibank is hiring this call centre, then they are getting ripped off as the centre is clocking calls with no sale.

Same as Max.   I just got a very noisy call (pub/cafe noise?   Lots of people talking in background, but it's only 11.40 am!) and I said hello, twice and caller hung up, without speaking.  I'm in Melbourne, this looks like a Sydney number.

It's Citibank, trying to sell income protection insurance

I have been receiving several calls from this number, if it is Citibank why only ring me on my mobile phone as I deal with them

I received a call from this number and called it back, I got a recording saying it is Peakbound they're a financial services market but I don't know if it's to do with Citibank as I didn't speak to anyone...

I just got a call from this number.  I picked up straight away and heard a lot of background noise.  I said hello twice and then got a female voice who said hello and then hung up....annoying!

Hey Everyone I got called by this number too, this has been an ongoing problem for citi bank customers for about a year!

If you get in contact with citi bank they reveal that this number is actually not connected with them at all.

Which is in fact true!

These guys are a sydney based scam that have got hold of citi bank customer details,
they call saying they are from a number of different companies trying to sell insurance and deals and other stuff.

They will try and get your credit card details!

They called me saying they were citi bank and wanted all my credit card details to confirm my identity (im thinking but you are citi bank you have all my details you gave me the card haha)
Hang up or just dont answer.

Just beware they have many different numbers they change them every few weeks!!

this number keeps coming up eery day around the same time, its rather annoying

This number keep calling me on my mobile for a whole month. I'm sure they did mention Citibank in the initial phone call and was trying to sell income protection insurance.

I think Citibank should look into it.

I just turned my phone on (it was only off for about 2 mins whilst battery was dead) and had 2 missed calls from this number. I have had 3 calls already in the last 6 months from Citibank regarding life insurance...how many times do you need to tell them NO!

Yep, it has started up again after about a month of silence, same number wanting credit card  details for Life insurance with Citibank, got plenty and I do not give Credit Card details to strangers,

I wish the phone makers could make a return signal that blows up their computer, that will fix em.
