Keep getting calls from 02-8198 6598. been happening for weeks. Caller(s) usually talking to others (without leaving a message) when my answering machine finishes.

I also get calls from this number, it maybe related to 0288233000

Rang back and heard a recorded message stating that they were (what sounded like) Insight and that I would have received a call from their charity fundraising service. Google revealed this: http://www.insightccs.com.au/

They mentioned phone number 1300 785 209, which did not appear on Insight's "Contact Us" page.

Have been receiving phone calls like this for months. Just let answering machine pick up calls as it is not a call i recognise and then it just hangs up.

In my case it was a call from the PCYC call centre in Surry Hills wanting me to buy raffle tickets. I refused as they asked for my credit card details and I smelt a scam. I called my local PCYC who checked it out and called me back to say that it was actually genuine. (Even if I'd known that, I would still never give out my credit card details on the phone!)

I miss the call all the time, i've never answered it, maybe a good thing.

I always seem to miss the call on my mobile phone. When I called this number there was a recorded message saying they were "Insight" and calling on behalf of one of their charities. Haven't given money to any charity in a long time.....

Just received a call from this number aswell, I picked up straight away, heard some static then they hung up. Lucky for them, I would have hung up anyway had I have seen this first.

I have had calls from this number also. They just hung up when answering machine picks up. I am registered to not recieve any nuisance calls so am wondering who it is.

They keep ringing after hours... I don't bother to answer their calls but my husband picks up the phone and then hangs up quickly so that they at least have to pay for the call.

this number calles me saying it is the rspca!!

i just received a call from this number asking me to make a donation to the heart research institute and for my credit card details. I said I'd think about it because it sounded fishy and subsequently called the HRI and they advised me that there is no fundraising call centre in Sydney (they only have two, in melbourne and phillipines).

i receive calls from this number (02 8198 6598) and also 02 8088 1400 and 02 8988 7427.  are these all scammers???????????????

Lately, I Keep receiving calls from (02)81986598.
I called them back and it's something to do with a scam to get money from you for a fake charity!
Do NOT call back.
Not sure how they got my number as no one has it, but it might be from my domain name info.

I also recive calls from this number around 3 times a week yet my number is a private number. I have rang the number back, The number rings but then goes silent in the back ground, I have a answering machine but they stop ringing just befor it picks up.
Who the Hell is this company and further more i am registerd on the dont call register also.

02 8988 7427 is a dodgey number calling me also!!

I get called by 02 8088 1400.  A bit of diiing and it is Insight Call Centre - http://www.insightccs.com.au
The business name is registered by a Simon Quinn from Loughlin Pty Ltd (located in Surry Hills Syd at the same address as Insight) - ph 02 9281 5646.  Insight and Loughlin's old phone number was 9215 1600.

So I suggest we all call Simon Quinn during work hours and tie up his time as well as giving him an earful!

I have had 2 of these calls today. Both don't leave a message.

I have been getting calls from 0281986598 on both my landline and mobile phone. Goodness knows how they got my mobile number as it isn't listed. I called back thinking it must be someone important seeing as they tried my mobile as well but I got some charity mob with a recorded message requesting I dial a 1300 number. Of course I didn't bother. Some people must not have much to do if they have time to set up calls to annoy people and they must be miserable if all they can think of is ripping people off.
If anyone from that 'crook' number reads this please desist from annoying honest people with constant phone calls. We are not interested!!!!
