- MelliI got a call from this number today at 1.10pm....no idea who it is
- Stop calling me| 2 repliesI would suggest it is ICT Australia (they ring from three different numbers)
I have sent this email to : compliance <compliance@ictfinancialservices.com.au>
I had reported your company to my mobile carrier, and I have blogged your details also for others to be aware... If you dont stop calling me, I will go to the police and report your company for harrassment. I will also take this to my local and federal MP and then to the media, this is to STOP by no later than the 10th of May 2010 or this action will be taken. So, I firmly suggest that you remove my details from your data base. I also suggest that you do not add this email address to your data base either! The only further contact I will accept is an acknowledgement email that your company will STOP calling me!- Caller: ICT Australia

- Chris| 1 replyI keep getting calls from this number but it says the number is disconnected when I call back?
- Emma replies to ChrisHi - i also have been receiving calls from this number. I am living overseas at the moment and dont ep my phone on me all the time, but i am getting at least three missed calls from this number (which costs me money as they leave a blank voicemail and its international roaming). When i try to call it back, it rings twice and then a voice over comes on "this number has been disconnected blah blah"...
Im seriously over it.
Without a doub t this is harrassment and i'v had enough...but unfortunately i dont know what to do ...its incredibly frustrating...If anyone has any advice on what to do ???
Cheers,
Emma - TrevorI received this call and they said they're from Optus and yesterday they called from 02 8198 3820 claiming to offer me two gigs of data from my plan of one gig. I said yes and strangely they had to ask for all my details to verify if it's me? But aren't they Optus and should have all that? I agreed and that was that. Today they called from the 6900 no and said they were technical difficulties switching to the double data and told me they'll try again. I said fine but this time he quoted the mumbo jumbo but this time he said I could use my iPhone as a modem and pay $14.95 per month for this service. So I said wait hold up!? I then argued saying no I don't want the service and he kept saying it's a month to month service I can cancel anytime after I try it an I said I don't want it at all! He said fine and I asked do I still get my two gig of data increase? And the prick says no cos it's part of this subscription? WTF? I smelt a total scam of shady shiftiness. Be aware ppl. I don't even think these ppl are really Optus cos they should have my details and phone no; so I don't know why they have to ask me my number when they called me? Careful.
- Caller: Proclaimed "Optus"
- SamI got a call from this number as well. I suspected foul pay , so didn't provide all my details. They were offering me the iphone plan . Thlady claimed that she doesn't have her computer on so she cann't provide all the details to me. She could tell me only the plan details that I can see in the internet.

- 123456789| 3 repliesThis number is an outbound call number, and no you all are not victims of fraud. How about you research the company and see what a good job they do, and now are an internationally recognized company. The reason they ask for details is verification that they are speaking to the right person and for security reasons. You all have to be aware that the representative may have limited information or access to details and systems. I just laugh at people who take action all the way to the police, how about you tell the caller to please take you off there do not call file and its as simple as that. I do get calls from this number for other products and i think its fine if someone is trying to offer me some new products or discounts. At the end of the day its just a job, if you think its time wasting advise them to take you off their file, dont get why people have to be so rude and over exaggerate!
- Skyee replies to 123456789I don't care if they are an 'internationally recognised company' or not,
calling me at 7am on a saturday morning is not acceptable by any means.
I don't know how they got my number or anything, but it's just ridiculous. - RunToday I got 2 missed call from this number
- sam replies to 123456789obviously this '123456789' person works for this 'international', UNNAMED company, or has some kind of affiliation to it. otherwise, what kind of idiot would defend an 'internationally recognised company' who needs to get random people's details? and if this company is legit, then why would they have an outbound number that you can't call back. either you're really naive, or you have something to do with this number. If it's the former, then sorry, but you're just dumb; if it's the latter, then tell your people to stop calling me! it IS harrassment, and with this many complaints, it CAN be taken to the police. I'm going to trace this number and take it to the federal police myself.
- RichI got this call and she said she's from Optus!! marketing!!
i said not interested before she can say anything and hang up!!- Caller: Optus
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TracyThis is a company calling on Behalf of OPTUS. Nothing but telemarketers.

- HesThis mob call a couple of times a day. Relentless. So I answered yesterday. Yes they claim to be Optus and offering Iphone deals. When they wanted to put me through to the 'verification centre' after the sales speil I was even more cautious. The fact that they want to charge your credit card $1 in the first instance to make sure you have a valid credit card hints it's a scam.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Jo replies to Paul| 3 repliesAh bugger - that explains why they still call me despite my being on the DNC - I'm an Optus customer so they're allowed to.
