This is the outbound number from Bigpond Movies - I had a missed call from that number this afternoon, and on checking my voicemail found a message from them, to remind me that the credit card I have on record with them has expired and needs to be updated.

Outbound sales calls are fine if there is consent (I used to work in a call centre myself and was asked to call people at dinner time (boo!))

However, I have not been a customer of BigPong for over ten years and have not provided consent.

Time to register on the donotcall list.

I keep getting calls on my Telstra mobile from 02 8217 2400 which I refuse to answer.My mobile number is given to selected only friends/relartives. Who is this call from and how do they get access to my number as it is not in the white pages

they keep calling and hanging up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  very frustrating

This number is now titled "SPAM" on my phone... They ring ALL the time, and never leave messages. If it's really that important, leave a friggen message! STOP CALLING ME!

I keep getting the same missed calls or they hang up straight away but on my mobile AND house phone and I am on the do not call register... It's very annoying :-(

Telstra are a f*&king debarcle.

I left them 3 weeks ago, after nearly 5 months of problems when I moved house, eventually had no services for two week and spent 45 hours on the phone trying to help them sort it out, ended up taking my TBox and Modem to the shop and telling them to call it off/ shut it down........

I called this number back and got a recorded message that said " you may have received a call from us.  you have been contacted by Origin about a product or service, we may call back at a later date"

How awesome that they put that recording on the number.

I just received a call from this number too and clearly stated it was from Origin Energy. Akward when I work for the opposition :) Funny that everyone blames Telstra straight away :)
