I tried calling this number back from my office phone and all i got was a phone message telling me no one was available at this extension. rather a short an rude message really.

I got a call from this number 20 mins ago and when i answered they just hung up!

Another one! i got 2 calls today WTF, same deal as you guys.

these guys have been getting a similar thing from a different phone number (but similar).

It seems to be an autodialler for a tellemarketer, call your phone company and make a complaint, it seems to work.  Be hard on your provider too, coz it seems that they have sold you information, in some cases to an affiliated company, so they won't try to resolve the problem unless you kick their [***]!

Good luck, these numbers seem to change every few months or something.

Hey Guys I just got a recall from this number and i can tell you now that it is a service for

FIND MY SUPER so if you have registered with them at any time they are trying to call you back maybe because they have found your lost superannuation :)

I'm sure lil is correct about the" find my super"  My partner was trying to track down a lost super and went to this site but half way through registration she decided they wanted to know to much info and closed out the page ,  since then she has been bombarded with emails and now these phone calls that ring twice and then stop

Just had a missed call from this number. I too dropped out of the registration process for find my super a few weeks ago. Fortunately I blackholed the email address I gave them, so this is the first annoyance I've had from them.

this number is a nuisance

I just got a phone call from 8218 4809. I was on another phone call and it was diverted to message bank. I tried to call it back several times but my service provider never even provided me with a dial tone. I suspect that this service is merely one way. Telemarketers prefer their scripts to be ready so they have the upper hand in negotiations. They don't want someone calling them back because they won't even have a clue who they are! The last thing a telemarketer wants is an instant lack of rapport!

This numer calls at least twice a day and just hangs up

We get daily calls from this number and no one appears to be on the other end.  Very frustrating and a huge waste of our time.

I just got a call from this number - selling raffle tickets for Rural Fire Services. I'm happy to purchase tickets to support the RFS - but not going to give credit card details over the phone until i know for certain it's not a scam, so they're sending me details.

I received a call from an overseas number 02 82184800 - I wish that these people would get a real job and stop harassing people with these calls.  I know of some older folk - who are likely to have a heart attack if these so called nitwits keep doing this.

Everytime I answer they hang up. Called the number back and its a recorded msg from a call centre saying
that they are Sydney based and then it hung up. Would love to be able to speak to someone and give them a a go about their harrassment
