incomming call with no speach

I recived a call from this number, i said hello once and waited, when i said hello agian the phone hung up. The phone call lasted 25 seconds.

Same - some machine keeps nuisance calling me. Calling it back just plays a message saying that it's an outsourced call centre for "a number of clients". I'm on the do-not-call register - so the ombudsman needs to hear about this.

I've been getting calls from this number but I never answer numbers I don't know. Who are they?

Me too - its starting to annoy me. I miss the call and they never leave a message, when I call back its answering machine. I'm on the do not call register too!

The phone rings, no one on the other end, hangs up after 25-30 seconds, must have called 4-5 times now..

This number has been calling me for 4 weeks now, on average once every two or three days inc weekends.  I have caught someone saying something when I reject the call and it goes to my MSG bank. SOMEONE is on the other end but who knows who!! Driving me crazy!

Had a few calls from this number with no-one on the other end. Got another call today and it was from a call center in Chatswood phoning on behalf of ANZ/ING to try and sell life insurance. The operator claimed that they do work for several clients but would not give any further details.

Same here ... twice now.  I am on the phone as we speak with ING to put in a complaint. I was advised by John employee number 24971002 that they have a system that dials us automatically but then hangs up if their are no life insurance agents available in their call centre.

I asked them how they got my name and they said they have their onw lists. i advised that my number is blocked and it is against privacy laws in AUS to call people without permission.

Told him I was going to report them to the insurnace Ombudsman and he told me he would remove my telephone number from their database.  

Perhaps everyone should ring and complain and have their numbers removed.  The main number for ING is 133 665 and ask for John employee number 24971002

Yeah got a missed call on my mobile from them, called back after hours & it was ING. will be calling "John" tomorrow and getting my number removed!

yes, I have also had this call just about 2 minutes ago and straight away google it up to see what comes up! and here I am trying to find the same answer, it's so annoying to have to answering the call and no one is there, a little bit freaky!

its for ING insurance. they called me 15 times in a week, does ING think this sort of practice will win them customers? i found out that they got my details from ANZ. i am annoyed and am thinking of changes banks due to this misuse of details. i can tell u, i will never get any products with ING.

getting calls from this number too... same thing as others..
I answer with a polite 'hello'.. nothing from the other end... i hang up.
nuisance....

like Richard says above, call ING on 133 665 and ask to have your number removed from their list.

Have just phoned ING and they assure me they will remove my number from list.
They said it would take 24hours until I'm 'FREE'
I'm telling ya now, they'll be getting an even crankier call tomorrow if I get another call!

I get the same, how do you get on the do not call list?

just got a call from the number didnt answer it.... checked back on my phone log and theyve called twice before on the same day 25th March... mmmm im with anz... not impressed!
