Same thing. I often get calls from this number with no voice on other end.

Very annoying & very rude. Get this number calling quite often with no voice on other end. This time I yelled down the receiver "hello" & they actually answered & asked for my company name. I asked "Who am I speaking to?" They wouldn't answer & asked to confirm my company name again, I then asked "What number did you call?" They said nothing & they just hung up. How rude!

I just got a call from this number. Claimed they were from sensis wanted to know if I still wanted to "still" be in the Whitepages. I was on a work PABX phone and the number definitely is not listed in Whitepages.

It looks like a phone version of a philsing scam.

Called on 18-Nov-09 at 14:17. I did not answer the phone and no message was left.

I wanted to be in the yellow pages for a new business I started and never got a call from them which I should have and got this number calling me early like a 8am but I never answered and they didn't call back.

Recieved a call from this number a few months ago. Googled the number and found this site. Have received numerous calls in the past few months. Have never answered a call, due to the fact from what I have read, above.

Received call. Someone was listening on other end but didnt say anything, then hung up.

Silent for a bit, then to open receiver sound. don't bother answering.

I just received a phonecall from this number... I was curious to know who so I typed it in google and found this site. Don't bother answering this number it is just Sensis!

I just got a call from this number. The women left me a message: "Hi its Nina from Sensis Yellow pages. I'm just calling about your listing going in the Sydney directory. If you would like to give me a call back on (02) 8289 5180."

It's just Sensis cold calling for advertising.

This is Sensis (Yellow Pages) calling for adevertising. Very unhelpful when i asked not to call me again and said it was up to my service provider

The number is from sensis, i work there and recognize that number. It's the general line from which you are prompted to press buttons depending on which department you want to speak with. It's also the number displayed on all outgoing calls regardless of which internal number from the 100 number range ISDN the call originates from. It's not a scam, probably just cold calling sales.

Called at 7.41.  No message left.  Having read this post, will ignore all future calls

They call your Mobile number during business hours, you answer the call and then silence, as I was about to hang up I heard a male voice saying "Hello", but what is annoying is that you recieve these dud calls over and over and the calling party invariably has some delay which immediately indicates it's a Telemarketer on an auto-dialler

i got a all from this number on my mobile - i didn't answer.  i dialled the number from a landline and it said ' welcome to Sensis ' so i am guessing they want to conduct a survey or something.  hope this is helpful.

My Mum got a call from this number today. I was about to ring back and then decided to check this website. Glad I did, saved me a bit of time. Thanks to those who have posted that this is a Sensis number and quite possibly conducting a survey.

If you are listing your num in the yellow pages or similar, this is the number they call you on to confirm you want to be added.

I got a call a few times. Finally answered it, it was the Yellow Pages "Courtesy Call". I asked to have my number removed.

I got the same messege about the listing, an Indian guy, probably calling from a call center, requesting my full name...but in Yellow pages they have already all my info....seems like an scam.
