Called the 1300 number and lodged a complaint. They have put me on the "do not call" list, however I have received two calls since.

(02) 8373 6811 keeps phoning after a few seconds of dead air a recorded voice says 'goodbye' and hangs up.
I've called the number only to hear no connection or ringing just music playing as you would if being on hold I waited and waited but decided to hang up. Lo & behold they call every 10 mins waking the whole home only to hang up, I'm not seeking a trace on this number I've made a note of the times of calls & dates I've had enough!! Seems a do not call listed number means nothing nor does having a silent number.

Keep getting calls from this number, is it a charity/telemarketing?? I am on the do not call list, it doesn't work very well!

I have been getting regular calls from this number. I have a trace unit software. Have been on Do Not Call since its inception.

Received another call last night, long enough to get a trace.

It is an overseas call from Global Shop Direct, using an Australian number. Phone them and complain. Useless calling the Do No Call number. They can't/won't do anything.

I too get these calls....I've used Global Shop once so I find your 'trace' interesting....thank you.

I GET CALLED FROM THIS NUMBER REGULARLY AND WISH TO PUT IN A COMPLAINT

I have repeatedly asked these people not to call me and take me off their calling list but they continue to call.  I have even threatened legal action.

Same same,.............used Global before.........will phone them and complain, but have asked them to remove me before also.......it will be the undoing of any interest in communications for me if these annoyances continue...........ridiculous world.

I have put my name on the DO NOT CALL list and still get calls from this number.

i am also receiving calls from this number. i have also purchased a genie bra set from global shop direct. i also believe that i have now received 2 letters in the post from Netherlands Lotto and another Lotto company. both of which used the same name format that i used when purchasing from Global Shop direct.

Have been receiving calls from this number none stop am very over it. Wishing they would stop!!

I called Telstra on 132200 and asked for "unwelcome calls", they are going to ring these people and tell them to remove my number from their marketing list (they also have the details as Global) and tell them to stop or legal action will commence. They also said that any call that has a woman's voice saying 'goodbye' is a telemarketing call.

I got a call from them just now. When I answered they hung up. After I did a Google search I found this site, so I just called the number back, and was put on hold immediately, with someone saying "Please stay on the line, your call is important to us" so after 2 minutes I hung up. If they call me back, a complaint will be made to whoever will take action.

I dont actually know who it is, I can only assume by other people its Global Shop Direct, as I have also dealt with them once, but they have NO reason to be calling me.

Exact same thing happened to me, a one off purchase then received letters from the Netherlands Lotto along with the phone calls.  It can't be a coincidence.

Received a call from this number today, did not answer though. I too have shopped with global shop direct once before and received lotto from overseas, will never deal with global shop direct again.

Same thing as everyone else, one purchase from global shop direct and you are being harassed with phone calls from 028272 6811 and receiving lotto entries in the mail, I don't remember signing up for any of this kind of contact, that would be because I didn't, we all need to band together and stop this company abusing private information given when making a purchase  from them

One more thing to think about , if they are not discreet about your phone number and your address, consider what other information they have.....your credit card details.

It's 10.15am and I have received 4 of these hang up calls already, also have that problem with the oversea lotto junk mail.Tried to ring them but can't get through. Very ANNOYING!!!!
