have rung twice on my mobile. did not answer and they did not leave a message. tried calling the number back but just get music so i dont know who it is or why they are calling

I have had the same thing happen to me. They have called almost every day. Some days 6pm some days 2pm. i call back and all i get is this digital tune. What is this?

just got a call from them & i hung up without answering it 3:21pm today (4mins ago) i'm guessing it's some call centre & how they get our numbers esp if we don't give our numbers out

I've had missed calls from this number all week and today I answered it

It was a guy struggling to read his scripts trying to discuss a special deal with Wyndham resorts and booking in for some $100 discount or something or other.

If you see the number calling... just hang up.  I tried being polite saying I work in the airline industry and don't require these sorts of hotel discounts etc and he kept trying to read his script over me.  Not nice.

have gotten calls from this number (and others) consistently every day for almost two weeks now. Have never answered, called back once and got strange music.

Got 2 calls from them. First they were looking for Chris and when I said the number was wrong and there's no Chris there they said it was alright and started talking about some [***] campaign that is run by Wyndham Vacation Resorts. I work in travel industry, with Wyndham in particular and that was the first time I heard about this.
They called me for the second time asking for David today, I just replied they have to make their mind up and decide who they're actually looking for. What a [***]!

I received a call a 2 missed calls from this number yesterday (24/07/12) before answering the third call to be offered holidays at Wyndham Resorts if only to hand over Credit Card details to "secure" the spot! - It was obvious that this person was reading from a script and had poor english!

Since kindly declining their offer i have received a further 2 missed calls. Purely out of curiositiy i called the number from a landline and got some 'hold' music for 45 seconds before hanging up.

Yeah I had the same. I rang and got music. It would of been Wyndham resort I've had them ring before.

SMS'd a phone number from Whitepages.com.au  to my mobile few minutes later get a call from "0283736845"? 5:45 PM Sydney time
scratchy internet call foreign accent telling me I've won $50
either my computer is compromised
or WhitePages feed them with phone numbers (more likely)

I have traced this back to a company call Wyndham Vacation Resorts 07 5512 8888 - I contacted them directly to have my number removed from their contact list.

Fed up with the calls. If u dont wont to leave a message dont bother calling

i am at overseas and the number above ring me every day, i return the call once and seems one of those dodgy call centers to sale stuff .  got more than 20 call in the last 5 days. sometimes one after other.

Keep receiving missed calls from this number .. when I return all I get is music .. From reading other messages I will ensure that this number is never answered.
