Rude, call and hang up, then call back and annoy me with telemarketing. Don't answer.

Definitely a call centre.  Thanks to this site I am not calling back to be harassed.

they called me today asked to speak with the owner of the business and then when he wasnt available they hung up. Pointless, don't answer them

Chris from Nextgen keeps calling and he's quite a nuisance

Chris from NextGen keeps calling from 02 8623 3350 & harrasing staff members. We advised on several occassions we don't want dealings with the company & still won't give up. Our suggestion would be to call the number back, it goes through to a call centre or reception ask to speak with Chris' manager, we put in a complaint & not to call our company again.

ohh I know that bloke.  A real pain the a$$.  All of them. I try this.. and if he hangs up, I call him back letting him know he has broken one telemarketing rule.. which will be reported.  Ask him in a firm voice.. " are you refusing to put me on your do not call back list?"   then start with the following...  Last call from them for me was 24-5-13.  Once start spitting out dates and who you have been harrassed by already they learn.  

"It is the policy of this business/household to withhold all future business from companies that solicit us via telephone." For most "legitimate" telemarketers.. this is enough.

But some get pushy... wanna make them squirm a bit?

What is the name of the company you are calling for?
Make sure you are getting the name of the company they are calling on behalf of, not the name of the telemarketing company they work for.
Is this a telephone solicitation?
Telemarketers will almost always say 'no' to this question the first time. When they do, say "Well, according to Federal Law a solicitation is a telephone call intended to 'encourage the purchase or rental of, or investment in, property, goods, or services,' is that what this is?" Often at this point, they'll start to realize that they may not be in control of the conversation. Sometimes they'll admit that, yes indeed, this is a telephone solicitation, but just as often they won't. Don't worry about it. Mark down their answer and move on.
Could you please tell me your full name?
They may have been suspicious after question number two, but now there's no doubt: you are not just going to say 'no thanks' and let them move on. Telemarketers seem to get very privacy-conscious when confronted with this question. They'll try to get away with just giving their first name; don't let them, the law says you're entitled to know their full name.
And your phone number?
Telemarketers are required to give you a phone number where you may contact the business they are calling for.
What is your company's mailing address?
This one usually doesn't get answered. Again, we're looking for the address of the company on whose behalf they are calling. Unfortunately, few telemarketers seem to know what the company's address is, even though they are supposed to. Don't be surprised if they transfer you to a supervisor here. Another response is for them to hang up on you!
Does the company you are calling for keep a list of numbers it's been asked not to call?
It's a violation of federal law if they don't.
Does the company you are calling for have a written policy concerning their don't call list?
They are required by federal law to have a written policy.
Could you mail me a copy of that written policy?
Upon request, telemarketers are required to provide you with a written copy of their Do Not Call List policy

Scammers. Avoid!

This guy is a total jerk. Won't take no for an answer. Has called about 6 times in less than 2 days.

Chris has kept calling constantly.  Really rude, wont answer questions when asked what it is regarding.  Googled the phone number and came across this site.  I have put a complaint in regarding Chris and his tactics.  If he calls back again im going to stick him on hold for eternity!!  @#$hole!

Best telecommunications company  i have ever Dealt with they gave me something in return for the money i was spending on my phone bill i got 2 i phones 5 & a new phone system no one else will give you that sought of deal any were value 14000 dollars so they cant be that bad just saying !

Just had a call from this Chris and reported him to his manager Brad who was mortified!

I have had a number of dealings with this company. they are rude and harassing.  I asked them a few months ago to not call us again.  We got left alone for a bit but the calls have started again.  The manager is Brad but when I rang to speak to them Amanda on front desk was helpful, apologetic and agreed to take me off the call list…. let's see how long it lasts this time!

Caroline from Nextgen keeps calling our office, is rude and vague about her intentions. Same tactic: wants to speak to the business owner. Her number is 02 8623 33 58.

I had some women wall me on this number 3 times to she was so annoying

They are calling daily.. I have called and TOLD THEM not to call again. I was firm about the NO CALLING so lets see how we go tomorrow.
