This number is calling me at least 4 times everyday.  I haven't answered yet as it is an unknown number - has anyone had a call from this number and answered?

Had the same number call me, it is strathfield car radio calling, do you have an Optus mobile and signed up through them? they are possibly calling to say its time to renew your plan and get a new phone if you like.

I had a call from that number too. I have an optus mobile that I bought through stratfield so I am guessing it is them based on Drew's comment.

Yeah getting the call. Didnt answered but then left a Voicemail, Returned the call and they never called me back. And yes i signed up thru Straithfield but that was like 6 years ago and been thru 4 new contracts with optus already.

i also joined this plan through strathfield, so im thinking its definately them and my plan in about to run out... how ever is it necessary to call several times every single working day!

yeah i get calls every now and then from this number too. I am with optus, but I didnt buy my phone through strathfield. if they are hassling you a lot you may be able to stop them by logging your number to the 'do not call register"

this is a government initiative to prevent telemarketing companies, etc from using your number...so i dont know if it will work for these guys esp if when we all join optus it is a clause in the fine print.

Yeh it is definately strathfield car radio and they suck big time... i answered the call and resigned up with them for another contract with a phone. they have since been charging me for the new contract but I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY NEW PHONE YET !!! I called them to chase it up and the way they have spoken to me is absolutely totally unprofessional... NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS AND WHEN THIS NUMBER CALLS YOU DO NOT ANSWER IT your better of saving yourself the hassle that im going through with them... [***] THEY ARE!!!

PS. just in case you get the same person calling you, you can tell her to eff off... her name is Sonia from Strathfield Car Radio.... when I asked why my phone hasn't been delivered yet, and I quote her saying "You don't have to get hot and bothered about it, I can't make miracles, you'll get your phone when we receive it"... and when i asked to just cancel the whole thing she said that she cannot cancel the contract now that I have to go through optus to cancel it. So, I called optus and they said that i have to go through strathfield car radio to get the phone or to cancel the contract as they're the ones who signed me up. So I called back strathfield car radio and they then admitted that they are the ones that have to deal with it and then they tell me that i have to pay a fee to cancel the contract when i havent even gotten my effing phone yet...I'm going to stratfield car radio tomorrow to give a piece of my mind and to tell em they can shove their stupid contact where it belongs.

I sighned up with strathfield when they called me and i was really happy with the service.and they even asked me what i look for in a phone and whats good for me. they even got me on a better plan that suits me. i was going over my bills and they helped me to reduce my bill by looking into my average spendings. so if they call just pick up you'll prob be really happy with wot they got to offer.

ive gotten a few calls from this number i didnt know who it was but when i finally answered it was strathfield and they did a great deal for me they gave me more benifits on my plans and even threw in a free cover carcharger and bluetooth headset with my phone that was satisfying for me

I signed up and still haven't received my phone either! And now when I call they don't answer, are they even a real business?

What jerks, got a message from opts saying my phone had been dispatched to them a fortnight ago, how slow can you be?!

I have had so many calls from them, and i phoned the number back, and they said the lady whom phoned me wouldnt return my call.. never happened...... haha

I am getting phone calls from this number, I am also with Optus but I got my phone through ALL PHONES.
