"often featured" is an outright lie and virtually slander. I have researched this and think of one occasion they were on A current Affair, and it was a bank mistake anyway. As someone who has dealt with heaps of collections (I've had a few debts myself :-/ ) I understand Credit Corp are some of the best for adhering to collection policies (they have to otherwise they get fined). GE are the ones who you have to watch.

Oh and a word to the wise. Take those calls. They can screw up your creditfile for years if you aren't forthcoming or compliant with them... its what they do. And they at least get off your back if you talk to em.

Rouges--mate you have no idea. I had a debt ..i kept ignoring my debt.and why? simply did not want to face up to it..at the end of the day if u borrow money u need to pay it back. if u lent money to someone you expect to get it back..same principle here....nothing is free these days...Credit Corp im sure are very adherent to the credit laws etc.they are a public listed company so you work it out buddy
anywway i paid my debt in installemtns and they were very understanding ..all i had to do was prove i was in hardship...
so people out their with debts...dont ignore it and do something about it or yoou wil have bad credit...thats the law !

I agree with rouges. Credit corp are a..hole's I am going through the death of my father and they kept calling even after I said I'm going bankrupt. And they still call. Also they said they will sue me if I don't do anything I talked to a financial adviser through life line and he said they can't do anything they are just trying to scare u.
I have had the worst year and because of credit Corp it made it a thousand times worse.

i love credit corp, thank you for helping...all those people out there that are scared to answer the phone or the door, face up to it.you can run ,but you cant hide.
look into how long they can ask you tp pay your bills back, have a look at the laws they can contact you.
i was so glad i finally dealt with it, i can answer my phone,door and even feel relaxed.
i have my life back, and not cowering in the dark or scared and stressed.to be honest we borrowered it, we need to pay it back.

i talk to this guy john, he is my case manager,he has this voice...well like a angel.

Problem is when they try to make you pay a debt that's not really yours, or it's statute barred. They lie and harass people frequently. And they're caught up with Credit Plan B as well.

What sought of company offers you a 'debt consolidation solution' of 38% interest?

The only good reviews about this company is the ones they write on here them selves.... they are sharks, buy old debts at 25c in the dollar then want to make a fortune out of them

I have been getting numerous calls from this debt collection agency over the last month.  I gave them my current address and asked them to send me a bill so I actually know what it is I'm paying for.  She said "I can't do that" so I told her I'm not giving a payment over the phone until they provide it.
Who would just cough up $600 over the phone without knowing what you are paying for?!!  They call my mobile constantly and my work yet they still haven't sent me a bill or details of what they are chasing.

I work for Credit Corp and my office is very dedicated to following procedures to assist those that we unfortunately have the job of perusing.. We would never question or refuse a customer paper work.. applications.. letters etc. Because the law states that we MUST provide you with this information.
