Report a phone call from 02890381743 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- RACHEL replies to EmmaxxxsThis company apparently are a market research company I believe?? Other companies engage these people to make phone calls on their behalf and usually to do exactly as some have described on this forum - ask them a few questions or conduct a survey. Rarely to sell you something.
Why parasites is my question?? - Marky| 1 replyWhy are Foxy Communications parasites you ask?
Well as someone who had the misfortune to work for the parasitical Stephen Eyre and Sara Barlow aka Foxy Communications (based at a farm), i can tell you many good reason why they are cowboys.
see - www.foxycomms.com
They advertise the job as "No Selling required" which is False right away, perhaps thats why the Jobcentre stopped doing their advert...as a home based call agent, you have to sell all sorts of garbage for them, from solar panels to dodgy time share deals, all under the so called guise of pretending it was a "survey". What is even worse, is that all calls are recorded by them but they do not inform the person answering the phone...you d.o.b, name and address is all recorded on their "survey" captures.
They are obviously making good money from paying low wages to their monkeys and raking in spam sales, as they are expanding their staff.
Does that answer why they are parasitical?- Caller: Foxy Communications Ltd
- Call type: Telemarketer

- JonIn saw a market research job advertised in the jobcenter today that turned out to be Foxy Communications, I was put off by how little information they asked for on their application. (Always the sign of a dodgy company if they don't even want details of past employers.) So did some research on them and ended up here.
What I am getting from this is they are a real business but they don't abide by the Market Research Society code of conduct as they attempt to sell products to survey respondants, is that right?
Don't imagine all the calls mentioned on here are from this particular business as I can't see why somebody working for a Market Research company can't just answer your questions about who they workl for or who commissioned the survey, even if the answer is "we can only tell you that after the survey as we feel it would sway the results."
Would like to know more about this company as I am currently working for a ligit Market Research company and was looking for similar jobs that could offer more hours, wouldn't want to give up a good job for cowboys. - Marry ParretI can confirm that Foxy Comms are a bunch of tired, clapped out, bunch of scam artists.
I applied for, worked for and ultimatly got sacked by them, all for 'not abiding by their codes of cunduct'. In some way i've relieved, as I can;t cause any mroe dammage!!
I was telling the called parties the truth in that I was offering the services of various companies based on the results of such 'survey'.
They go under the 'National Money Savers' phrase now, but some agents don't stick to that, even though they should for regulatory reasons. When the majority of my callees were alderly or infirm or just generally not able to make a snap decission, I'd stop the call and take a break, wondering how many more people had called prior to me. I'd hate to think my grandmother or even my mother having to deal with the likes of Foxy Conns (sorry Foxy Comms) agents. Some can be very rude and very very intimidating over the phone!! I know, i've heard them!!!!!
I generally go by the rule that if any company that you've never heard of (or at least had no dealings with in the past) asks you for personally identifiable information, tell em to take a runnig jump off beachy head!! Oh, and just because they SAY they are calling 'from' such company, ask for a telephone number to verify their information, they soon get cold feet then and bugger off!!!!
So long Peepsies!!!- Caller: Foxy communications (aka Foxy Cons)

- Worker replies to MarkyI had the bad experience of working for this company and anybody thinking of taking a job with this company think twice as they can remove you for the fact you can't get the targets that they feel is needed but when you read any advert for them they state only that you get 6.19 to 9.00 per hour this is false information and doesn't state anywhere that you have to get any number otherwise you can't work if you have a family and need a full time job don't even think about this and move if you are young and have no mortgage or living with parents then you would only waist your time but don't have commitments as this is not a real job just a used waist of time and unprofessional company they also get a agency euromarketing based in Lancashire to get workers they use the office to make it sound as if this is a professional company also they use people from home without doing any reference checks so you the consumer could be giving your information to anybody you do this at you own risk be aware.
- bill replies to Markyi worked for Foxy Communications and was forever getting bullied and nasty remarks and stopping me from working most of the time and when you get our performance sheets they email you do not get the hours you put in they say you are in wrap which you are not and the end of the month you never get our 100 hours and the pay of 6.19 -9.00 hour you never get it only min wage of 6.19 hr and less 3% for the dallier and the wrap they say you are in they also deduct from our wages at the end of the month.when pay day comes you have to wait all day and can wait until midnight and even days after that to get payed you only can chase this up by email but they do not get back to you and after 5 pm they do not answer there phones or answer any emails you send them.this is not a proper full or part time job when they control you because they send the calls and you only speak to the caller you also have wrong details and names which not help you tell them but they are not interested when have the cheek to stop you working
- Friend replies to Emrys Chapel| 2 repliesHi,
I just wanted to point out that Foxy Comms is not a scam company under any means.
I currently work for them and have had no problems at all, the company isnt trying to sell you anything at all, in all honesty we are trying to save you money on your bills and offer you links to companies that can advise you on certain products you may need.
In this day and age i thought everyone would want to save money??
We do not cold call you as such - we get our database from legitimate sources. We ask you a number of consumer questions to help give companies feedback and as i said see if we can help you anywhere along the line.
If you do a survey and you say no to everything then thats perfectly fine, the agents that work for foxy comms are trying to earn a living just like everyone else we are not scam artists at all.
If you ask for information then you get it, if you ask for a call from a particular company for advice etc you get it, if you dont ask for them you wont get them simples.
At the end of the day if dont want the calls my advice would be to be careful who you give your details out and look at small prints when you fill in forms online.
IF an agent is rude to you in any shape or form then ask them for the survey helpline number they are obliged to give it to you - i would hate to think my colleagues are being rude and giving the company a bad reputation.
I think foxy comms is a pretty good company trying to help people in the difficult financial times and passing information to other companies so that they can ensure they are meeting customer needs. - Lobotomized replies to Friend| 1 replyWell I worked for FoxyComms for quite a long time and can confirm that they are pure parasites.
I hated the pressure of trying to sell absolute garbage to poor old people and vulnerable types, to get enough "points" for surveys. I also argued with Stephen Eyres (Director) that it was false pretenses, to say we were doing market research surveys, when in fact it was pure cold calling sales, and with the worst scripts you ever heard. Interestingly, the other Director, Sara Barlow, is now married to Stephen, so it`s husband and wife running the show from their home in Nottingham. They have expanded their staff by quite a bit with the successful guise of selling rubbish under the name "National Moneysavers". They also employed a young graduate fresh out of Uni as their "IT tech dept" and also a real pain in the butt "training manager", who is Scottish and sounds all sickly sweet, but is pretty incompetent herself when you do her "live training". These people are genuine parasites preying on anyone they can and even recording all the calls without the people knowing. Fat Leeches comes to mind.. - Angel replies to LobotomizedThe post above by "Friend" is the typical guff that the Foxy Comms bosses tell their employees to say to people who challenge them about their cold calling hard sales approach.
The "surveys" are poorly dressed up as surveys and revolve around scoring points for get leads to sell things like solar panels, time share etc. Agents need to be getting around 40 points or so a survey, or it`s adios amigo..
The fact that the top monkeys are still denying this is anything other than cold calling sales, shows what type of people they are. Instead they try and make out they are doing people a favour...Um, no, because your deals are garbage designed to rip people off....Sara and Stephen are purely out to make lots of money.
Do a search on this company and you will come across a poor sod who worked 15 hours for them and was not paid for that time, because he could not get enough points.
