Got a call from 02891287005.  did not answer as 02891856175 is a very similar number and on this site you warn it's a scam.  Anyone know if 0289 1287005 is related to the same scam as 02891856175?

I get called from this number daily.  The never leave a message.  Very annoying.

This is Natwest, they called me and tried to sell me some life assurance product.

Someone called from that number. Claimed to be from Natwest (Scottish accent), but they wanted to know my DOB which I found a bit suspect. Told them I wasn't interested and they let me go.

My wife just got a phone call from these people as well, also claiming to be from Natwest. They knew her name and surname, and asked if it was convenient to talk. Since she didn't recognize the number, and it was unsolicited, she politely told them that she would not talk to them. They apologized and hung up.

They called me twice today, didn't answer. Hate these calls. Talking of suspiciuos calls from Natwest, had one on landline, offering life insurance, they almost got me, stupidly gave them my dob (they had my name and address), but when they asked my accound number i thoughht - hang on, this is really NOT right, especially since i said that i DON'T want insurance...

I get called by this most days. I never answered because the number wasn't one I recognised. Finally got annoyed and answered, they told me it was Natwest with an unurgent matter. I said I couldn't talk right now and they told me they would phone back. I would say just don't answer. The call seemed dodgy to me.

Keep getting called - fortunately never answered. Won't in the future.

I've logged this via natwests fraud site - 'phishing@natwest.com'

Perhaps if anyone gets called again it may be an idea to also write in so that natwest get a solid case against them.

Its a 'office box' call centre operating out of County Down.

Unfortunatly the first time they called I was off guard and gave them my mothers maiden name - but then the alarm bells rang upon them asking me for my account numer - at that point I hang up.

Next time they call me I shall be record their call.

Had calls before from this number but always missed it. Had two calls today and wondered what the number was so called it back it was automated and said it was natwestand it said it would call me back...Im confused is it really them or not?

just got a phone call,they asked for me by my full name, luckily the line was bad so i hung up, then googled the number to see who it was! I have been on my internet banking website today so i think ill be changing my pasword as my bank is natwest! scary!

I just received a call from the same number. I missed the first one and they called back. It was a guy with a very broad Northern Irish accent. I told him I had spoken to my branch about the calls and will inform them I don't want any more calls from this number. He said he was calling from a Natwest call centre and the branch would inform them to stop calling.

Got a call from 02891287005, asking for details stopped at dob then I rang natwest they never heard of them, be careful if you ring the number its recorded message not genuine sounding ring your branch and tell them they will monitor

Just got a call from this number 02891287005, and reported it to the NatWest fraud team who are going to looking into it.

If you get a call from 02891287005 just hang up!

NatWest have confirmed this has nothing to do with them, and advised to get your mobile operator to bar the number

I've been getting calls every day around midday since 6th August.  I've blocked the number now so my phone doesn't ring.  I might go into my local bank and report it there.

Irish male accent, Offered 'extra benifits' for my natwest account, then proceeded to ask for my details, thankfully I missed his calls from a week before and found this page using Google. Reported as a non urgent crime and reported to phishing@natwest.com

I have been getting these calls - not answering - they leave no message.
I have reported to Orange my mobile provider - you'd think they'd be aware and try and do sonmething from their end!!

this number has been calling my mobile the past 3 days, not answered as yet, but concerned as all my accounts are with natwest.
