    I've received 20!!! Calls from this number over the last week
    They tell me they're from Optus but the number doesn't connect me to Optus and when I call Optus call centre they know nothing about it

    Ok, its Optus, but if you call the number back you get a message telling you to call their office.

    they say they are  Optus with a $20 mobile phone deal and offering a new phone. I do not know  how good this deal is and They have rung me 4 times letting the phone ring a long time today again as I said I wanted to check their credentials. last call 7.50pm

    I supposably recieved a call from this number on the 25th of September but yet I never answear numbers I do not know. The call went for a few minutes. I have never seen this number before and I do not know anyone is this area of NSW.

    I've received several missed calls from this number - they don't leave a message and as I don't know them I don't pick up.  Very annoying!

    I am tired of this I see I am not the only one being harassed by this number they have called me an average of 4 times a day and the first time they tried to call me was on the 14th November I keep telling them that I am on the (DNCR) Do Not Call Register and then they just hang up and then you guessed it I get another call apparently the Do Not Call Register does not apply to these people.
    They are actually a External Call Centre they are actually not Optus they just Represent Optus that is why Optus has not Idea why we are receiving the Phone Calls. The Do Not Call Register is looking into this for me and have advised that the amount of phone calls I am receiving is on the Border line of Harassment apparently if you receive 5 Phones from the one phone number everyday it is classified as Harassment and you can actually take Legal action and the DNCR said they must know this that is why they are only calling 4 times.
    So I suggest Call the Do Not Call Register and get them to deal with this Company

    Recieved a call from this number, no message left! Not the first time either! Keeping in mind it's 6pm WA time!
    Not happy and I wish they'd either leave a message or stop calling !!!

    I just got 3 call from this number ....and have sent 2 txt mgs as : " Hi Woody......I am Mark from Optus ....regarding ur optus request....."  and the 2nd msg goes " Hi Woody I am Dr Hopkings.....we would like to changes ur Optus bill and Optus plan to restore service......etc..etc......" what the hell is going on with this number and Optus....

    Just got a call from this number. It rang once and they hung up. Thankfully I found this post. With iOS7 you can block numbers like this so they never bother you again!

    External Call Register, that explains a lot, the voice of the person who called me sounded all warped and funny, and when they asked me if I was able to make transactions on the account the phone was on, (My Dad's account, my phone) I hung up, it just sounded too close to a scam for my liking.

    I had a fault with my service and lack of reception and received a missed call from this number. Later rung Optus off a Telstra phone and they notified me of the call they tried to make

    Missed call yesterday at dinner time. No message. I have always had private numbers etc due to my work. But ever since I joined coles flybuys three months ago I have been receiving marketing phone calls every day. Samsung phones have an option "add to blocked list" which I recommend you use. if it is a hidden number calling then don't answer. If it is important they will leave a message. If the caller doesn't leave a message, then their own actions are saying you the call is not important

    this number is doing my life in!!!! 1-2 calls every f***ing day!
    when u call legit Optus - u go straight through to the main menu. this tells u which number to call then hangs up. a**holes interferring with my day!

    Seriously drives me nuts. They keep ringing and today I finally answered and the foreign caller said they were from optus looking for the bill payer...they used my middle name as my first name so I hung up, like if you can't read don't call me
