just got a call from this number, no voice on the other end.. any ideas who it is?

Just called me - it was Allphones calling to tell me about some new 3G modem

this number has called me 4 times in the last 24 hrs....going thru exams so i've always been away from the phone, or asleep.  Very new, never had this no. before.

the [***]!  If its allphones, they're in for a tiger uppercut next time i head to the shops.. Im in au by the way.

Whoever it is only calls me on weekdays in between the times of 11:3am & 12:30. Cant answer it as im in school. Didnt happen on the weekend or any other time and im really annoyed!!!

Virgin Mobile apparently, to offer me a new phone... sus.

Like so many people, I too have received many calls from this number. Only on 26th March 2012 did I managed to get to the phone before they hung up. A deep male voice, told my my name, and that Virgin had accepted my application for broadband - then hung up. I had not applied to them for broadband although I do have Virgin mobile. I contacted Virgin but got lost in the "hold the line " routine. At Woden Plaza there is a Virgin sales desk, so I asked there if the number was one of theirs. They also suggested it was an Allphohes origin call like another I saw in this forum. It so happens that I did take out my Virgin mobile contract with Allphones. How about other contributers to this forum - do you have Allphones contracts?
