Got a call 28/04/2009, let it go to messagebank, no message left.

Got a second call ten mins later, again no message

They keep calling and calling and calling and never leave a message. Call up to ten times a day. I miss it every time and now am reluctant to call back. Why don't they ever leave a message?!

THis number just called my mobile. I went to reverse look up and they have no details on this number, so did a websearch this site came up.

I think I will ignore the call from now on...

It is Virgin Mobile Australia.
If you call the number back it even gives a recorded message advising of this.

Called me 15 damn times today

Had calls from this number a few months ago. Now 2 again today in within about 3hrs.

Thought maybe it was some bill I hadnt paid and got a little nervous, however I dont think thats the case.

Im with Simplus not Virgin, so I assume this is a telemarketing type deal trying to get people to switch mobile companies. Asking if you are happy with your current contract etc....

Refuse to answer it.

Simplus and Virgin have merged, so that's the connection.  I've been getting calls for the last few days - 10 calls in total which I'm ignoring.

I answered and the call made my phone call them back and it had a message saying their lines were inactive.

Just ignore the call it's nothing.

I've received a number of calls from this number as well as 0286666650 which they also seem to use.  I'm wondering if it's somehow linked to making a complaint on the Virgin website.  I'm with Virgin - a pissed off prepaid customer who's gonna change any day now. I tried to get their help with an issue with my prepaid phone over the net. They never replied to my request for help but ever since I've been getting nuisance calls from this number and the other one - no one on the line, disconnected line etc. Maybe Virgin onsells numbers of people who complain about their service just to be a thorn in the flesh.

Silent for  minute, then they say it's Virgin, they asked for my personal details, but refused to say what for. I replied that I wasn't comfortable handing them my PIN and personal deta given that is was an unsolicited call. Second time this has happened. If it is genuinely them, bad play.

had missed calls from the number last two days, checked here so didn't bother answering. Today they just left a message on vm stating they are calling from Customer Care (yes I'm with Virgin) & as I'm at end of contract they are seeing if I want new phone/plan. They left number to call as 1300 555 100 & gave the guys extension. Checked & the 1300 number is for Virgin Mobile

Got 3 missed calls from this number today. Didn't answer. I'm not even with Virgin so I'm kind of wondering how they got my mobile number in the first place??

If you have signed up with virgins extra 20% bonus credit then this number will call you to confirm details enabling you to get your extra credit. Hope this helps.

thanks peoples.yes i got this number today too.i,m with virgin mobile so makes sense.they seem to be getting a little desperate to keep customers.though they had a deal were i got free meat pies at harrys cafe de wheels with them a few years ago.i much prefer if they leave a text message,i also get a little freaky receving annonomus calls outta the blue !!       cheers

I live in WA and they rang me at 6:00AM my time. Now that's not fair at all!

This has been happening for the last week

I just ported one of my numbers away from Virgin to a Woolworths pre-paid SIM, they screwed it up & cancelled a second number on the account. Keep getting calls from this number I assume to get "feedback" on the changes - now they have lost me as a customer.
