It is westpac.. they would have sent you something in the mail and have an external company calling to try and sign you up for insurance.

I rekon this is a scam, they wanted to confirm Crecit Card details... I DONT THINK SO!

Westpac Bank. Trying to call about insurance. 3rd time they have called in a week.

This number rings and when answered hangs up! 4 times this week!

I had same as paul they hang up as soon as i awnser. I think they have to much time cos anyt going to spend money. Mabey is scam.

That's what I found on a forum:

Call 131 817 and get yourself removed from the call list.

Once done, you can sue Westpac for $500 fr each subsequent call.

I get two to three calls a week from this number, but when if I answer, they simply hang up.  Now I know that I can just ignore it.

I have had this number calling me for the past four months everyday. They still dont get the point. Stupid f*#+

Had this one call me today. Missed it because I was in a noisy area at the time.  Just added it to to the reject list. Probem solved. :)

I have spent the last hour on the phone to Westpac, what a joke....ever increasing circles,...eventually got on to the complaints department who were very dis interested but did advise me that they would pass on my complaint to the marketing manager, no prize for guessing that is Peaks Downs the marketing group.  This has been an ongoing issue for almost two years.  I have required my details to be removed for marketing purposes and my next move is to cancel my account and go somewhere else and look at legal action, Peak Downs 02 9191 5885, and good luck getting on to them.

I got this call, how can I stop this ?

This is a RUDE caller from Westpac who not only calls me at odd hours and is so damn rude on the phone!

I am getting called from this number about once every two days, I just tell them I am on scaffold, and cant talk, now I dont bother answering. When I was hurt and off work, I would find their number, and ring them every day, and read them things out of any catalogue I could find. Really slowly and annoying, they started to enjoy it.

Stop calling me!!!!! Sheesh.

i got this calls everyday about insurance and other stuffs blah blah. that guy said he is from westpac. is westpac selling our information to someone else or what?
