I got a call from this number and no message was left. I believe they tried to call as well on my mobile but number came blocked. Not sure who the hell they are.

wish they would speak when you answer .fed up with unwanted calls ,feel sorry for those people who have difficulty getting to the phone .

Had at least 4 calls from this number today & several yesterday too!

We screen all through the a/phone so they just hang-up when it kicks in, but it's still very annoying.

What's worse is if it is Sky (as someone indicated) I'm already a Sky customer & if I wanted to change may package then I'd contact them to enquire about it.

They called me this evening...I could hear them laughing and joking and making fun of customers on the telephone. it was not pleasant . I was connected for about a minute..nobody spoke to me.

yep just rang me twice today as well, and didn't leave  message on my awnserphone. i'm already with sky, so i guess they are ringing all their existing customers to try and persuade us to upgrade to a more expensive package ! (No chance murdoch ! i'm happy with what i've got, thank you very much !) At least i know now not to pick up the phone if they ring again

Me too. Call is from SKY TV. I rang it back and got a SKY message - didn't listen to it past "welcome to SKY........". I bought a SKY+ box off eBay the other day & upgraded/swapped from normal digibox. Maybe it was an after sales care call, but knowing the Murdoch Empire, I very much doubt it. Not like them to REALLY care about what their customers want or think.

Sky are phone bandits, this activity should have been made illegal a long time ago.  This could quite easily be called harrasment.  But somehow they get away with it.

hi today i got 2 this type call.... there was music, nothing answer.
so next time i wont pick up. .... LOL

We've been called twice today from this number...and as people have previously said, as soon as the answering machine kicks in they hang up - very annoying.  Also, we are already Sky customers, so don't know why they are rining us - bet it's not to reduce our bill!!

Anyway, it's March 2010 and they still annoying people!

This number has been phoning me for the last week up to 20 times a day, kept getting voice mails from them but when I listened to them there was nothing there.  Hopefully they will give up soon as I won't be answerering the call.

I have also had calls from this number.  Rather annoying as they just hang up after about 10 seconds.

Its a message from sky. They use a predictive caller .Ring the number and you get a voice message.

At least six calls today - just leaving it to answerphone but even that is becoming irritating. What to do?
Any answers? Can't see any on here.

I rang Sky to complain but they said that this number is not them and is possibly some sort of hoax so do not call the number back or leave any details.  Best approach would be to call Sky customer services and register it as a nuisance call in their name so that they'll hopefully get to the bottom of it!

Called twice so far today on mobile, nobody there when I answer, looks like it's sky calling and I already have it, no I don't want to change my package!

This number has called me at least 5 times today and each time I answer there is no one there.

Who is this? my number is ex directory so its a bit worrying for a single woman to receive silent call.

02920199900 is definitely sky trying to update its "loyal customers" with so-called "free" packages. What is really annoying is their persistence. Also the number of times they ring and there is nobody there on the phone! This is because they use a system which dials more than one number at once and as soon as one number is answered it drops the other calls and so when you get to the phone there is nobody there!!!

That god for Google! Have been getting called by this number as well, Initially I thought it was a random Cardiff STD call but when I finally bothered to answer (despite having caller ID) there was no one on the other end. Crazy fools!!!
