"Communications Direct" asking about upgrades. I assume it's one of those dodgy scams where they bump you to a new network, so I hung up on them.

i got a call from same number, and when i answerd it, the call is from some ppl in cardiff trying to sell  contract phones to customers(3G).

just called me twice how did they get my number ??

dont konw the number but am a t-mobile customer on the 13th month of 18 month contract

I'm just wondering if we (I mean those who are on T-mobile) should all ask T-mobile about this harassing. Surely they must be the one who is giving customer details to those annoying companies.

I've talked to t-mobile about this.
They've said that they are aware of this, and also have said that they are looking into it. They have told me that they never give customer info to anyone like that.

They have suggested that the shop whom you buy your phone/contract from could be doint it - For example, in my case, I bought my phone and signed the contract at one of the carphone warehouse branches in London, so it might be one of their employees who might be giving the info to other companies...

I might try to talk to carphone warehouse too. But meanwhile it is better if more people make a complaint about it, don't just keep quiet and tolerate the abuse! The more complaint they receive, the more they are going to deal with it.

Talk to t-mobile, or whatever the company who has your detail.
And don't answer the number anyway. They just want your money.

I think it is more likely to be a T-mobile employee.

I kept getting these calls to, just answer it and tell them that your contract is no where near the end, its a dialler si it will keep calling you untill you answer, rejecting calls is not the way to stop them calling you!

T-Mobile makes me nervous. I made a formal complaint and they keep going

Cant believe everyone is in a similar situation i am near the end of my T Mobiule contract and this number has been phoning constantly. even hanging up and then ringing back immedietely getting annoyed about this now

these bastards don't put in their computer that you have refused their offer, and worst they have the date of the end of my contract worong!!
This is not seeling anymore but harrasment. Anyway here is a couple of suggestions:
- Leave TMobile at the end of your contract: I am afraid that if all these people are annoyed the same way I am theyu can't be bothered to take care of their custumers properly (worse is that still hapopens if you bought you phone from the tmobile shop - so ask the custumer service to stop the bull s**tting). And be awarre that tmobile custumer service will try to seel you other services like reduced rates for overseas calls like me and I was complaining to them about telephone sales bastards!!!
- it's a legal requirement for companies such as Communications Direct to check on a register before they call you. I registered online on tpsonline.org.uk. If they call me again I will sue them, Anybody interested....
Last resort would be to inform the information commisionner of the area you leave in.
I can't believ we have to make all these efforts to refuse crap sold to you by complete idiots!

im on t-mobile pay as you go, and have been recieving calls from this number, when i pick up, no one answers. Very weird. i even called it back and no one was answering.

Answered the call she said "oh umm " and hung up !

Called my mobile today and left no message.  first of many I guess!

I keep getting the 02920 368 797 number.  It has been constant 5-6 times a day. missed calls.  I am also a t-mobile customer and i am concerned at the level of data protection.  How they obtained my number and obviously my account information.  BEWARE if you get a call from this number do not answer or call back theyc an hack into your system
