Ha! I just missed a call from this number too- am shocked to see how many other people have had the same issue. Glad I didn't answer.

Just got a call too and didn't answer, just googled it to see if i could find out who it was and found this site.

I just got my third call from this number and the last 2 the put the phone down everytime i answer, can they still get anything, and how they get the numbers?, thanks.

Received call this morning, but on another call at work so didn't answer. Also missed a call from the same number last week.Didn't recognise the number so didn't ring back.

I got a call from this number last week and again today - haven't answered though it doesn't give you much time to answer I assume they want you to call them back at some extortionate rate.

Luckily this number called me on my lunch break so i didnt answer, after reading everyones comments, im glad i didnt!

I just had a call from this number. There was a long delay and then someone was speaking really loud, asking me about my pay as you go phone. He said he was from Communications Direct. I said I hadn't got time and put the phone down. It seems they did reverse charge me but luckily it was just 20p!

I had 2 calls from this number yesterday and one this morning.  I never answer if I don't know the number.  Glad I googled it as it led me to this website.  Something must be done to stop these companies pestering people!

I got a call from this number, well several calls, but never answered,
I didnt know who it was so I decided to call them, nobody picked up, but they said pls dont hang up, our customers are important, we are expieriencing high volumes of calls....? Hung up too. I got it since I have an account with vodafone online???!!

Had a call... answered it and after 4 seconds they hadnt spoken. Hung up. Checked my balance. It had eaten away 10p!

Yup, I got one 41 minutes ago.   I was on the tube.   I've assigned the number as "mystery caller" so I'll know next time.

Ignored call fortunately now I know it is a scam.

I didn't realise they charged people for answering. How can they do that aren't they supposed to tell you or ask you if you will accept the charges???

I rang them as I had a missed call on my phone and I thought it might be something important, now they ring every day! I don't answer.

Question is how did they get my mobile number in the first place I never tell any company my number?

I got a call from this number yesterday and the guy wanted to chat about me being on "Pay as you go". I replied I didn't have time and he asked at what time he could call back - having a really busy week, I said I don;t know. They called back today but I didn't answer.

Can't this just be some "real" company just making offers to swap to another mobile agreement?

I have had a couple of calls from this number. I dont answer if I dont know the number so they cant charge me but its so annoying knowing that these companies get away with this!

Just had exact same thing.  They called while I was out of the room so I didnt answer.  And I won't be!  Thank you to all the people who post on here.  This is what consumers should be doing - there's power in numbers, no doubt about it !

Goodness, 15 Pages eh?  Well first this is a great site, secondly thank god I did not answer as it reverses charges.  Bunch o' swines :(

Again another call from this lot - my mobile doesnt have the option to block numbers but thanks to this site I wont be answering it from now on anyway! Fantastic site and I have told all my friends about it so they dont scammed either.
