Recieved a call this morning, and managed to get my number 'scrubbed off the list', yet i'm still recieving calls off them (3 so far). Apparently they're some mobile survey company based in Cardiff (a load of b/s basically)

Oddest and most pointless call ever.
The next time they called I launched into a full conversation. Seemed to freak them out sufficiently. They never called back.
Any ideas who/ what this is?

I received a call from this number too. I was at work and so didnt answer it but buy the looks of it it would have cost me if i did. Im on Orange and am wondering if they have got a number list from them as i nevr pass out my mobile number for this exact reason. Is anyone else on orange?

I'm on Orange too.  The callers all seem to know that, and make it sound like they're official partners of Orange.  If you press them on it they reveal the truth - that they're nasty lying scum.

Been called twice by this number in past few days, but luckily was in shower and out to lunch at the time. Researced number and yes it is a Cardiff number. Earlier post here ref CommsDirect wrang a bell as they were mentioned on a TV programme last week (Tonight with Trev McD I think) where they have been scamming people (usually the elderly) big time getting them to take on new contracts & pretending to be associated with BT and offerring and enhanced service opton with cheaper calls - if you unwittingly accept they hang you out to dry with a huge bill totalling £100's, sometimes £1000's in the case of one business owner who got taken in by it.

I just got a call from this number! Searched in Google. Luckily my phone was on silent so I didn't answer it! Didn't look like any kind of normal number and I've had calls like that before. Recently changed my number so it can't be from anyone I know!

I JUST HAD A CALL OFF THESE THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED, I STUPIDLY RAND THEM BACK AND NOW WAITING TO SEE MY BILL. DONT ANSWER OR RING BACK!!!!

Just received a call, no message left.  Obviously a scam so beware.  I have saved the number under 'Beware' so I don't answer it in error

Received a call from this number today at 09.29, missed it. I always google unknown numbers before calling back.

Received call this morning.
Caller wanted to know whether I was on Pay-As-You-Go. Callers reaction to being told that I did not appreciate cold calls was that "he just wanted to reduce my call charges" -- yeah right. (on Orange too)

Received 4 calls from the number this morning. Ignored them all. Have complained to the police as i am a solicitor and they have said that they will be taking action.

Please do make complaint and have these people imprisoned.

got a call just now. answered it, but was silent so hung up? are these guys targeting a specific area?

I got a call from this number this afternoon, there was a long silence when i answered so i hung up on them

Got a call from this number today saying they would give me a better deal on my mobile phone, said I was fine thanks and hung up he called back 2 min later very rude and said tell me what you pay and I bet you I can do better again I said no thanks and now he has called back for a 3rd time (have not answer this time)

Just recieved the call, I was about to ring them back, luckily i did a google. Its quite weird to see everyone experiencing the same circumstance.
