I received a call from this number but before I could answer it my mobile switched itself off.  No, it isn't some new gadget that can detect bogus callers (that would be useful though), I just need to buy a new battery.
Anyway, I didn't recognise the number so I Googled it, and found myself on this site.  Lucky escape methinks.

Just got a miss call from them, pfew!

I've received several calls from this number and they wont leave me alone, i have never picked up as i always miss them, but it is starting to get extremely annoying.

just like to say, Edmund.... the number u have on page 18 explaining who they are is actually different, its 02902 822637 instead of 02920 822637

This nuba called me today. i was in lesson and did not answer it. thinking it was important, about an order i had made or somthing, i called it. it rang 6 times, and then it says, due to hall callers, we cannot take your call, please hold the line untill a opearator is available. without saying who i was calling??? so i hung up!

Although if a number comes up on your phone which you don't recognise, don't answer it! If it's important they'll leave a message or call back.

Missed call which from all these comments I am thankful for and will look out for number in the future.

These guys have called me three times in the last couple of days - twice today. I didn't answer, googled the number to see if they were a company and came across this site!!  I'll make doubly sure I don't answer in future.

Happened to me today too, and I was phoned last week too. There seems to be some correlation between 'Vodafone' and these guys. So, who can I EECB about this? VF?

received 2 calls from this number today - was not able to answer either time, but did receive a text message from Vodafone shortly after one of them.
Only entered the number into Google to find out which area the call came from as it was an unfamiliar number... very surprised to find this!!!

Its a company using a predictive dialler. they dial loads of numbers at the same time but only speak to the first to answer ! it is legal only providing they use a human on the next call and actually speak to you. Many companies are ignoring the rules because ICSTIS and OFFCOM rarely fine them any significant amount -- if at all. Toothless dragons as usual, but complain if u like, perhaps they'll wake up if enough people contact ICSTIS. WOT WAS THAT, A FLYING PIG?

They rang me Tuesday 26/02/2008 15:04 and Tuesday 04/03/2008 11:22 but I leave my phone in the car when I'm at work. Let's see if they ring again next tuesday. I'll be there to answer it!

I don't need them to ask or tell me which tariff I need, we are capable of doing it ourselfs.
