called me twice so far i answered the second time and sum guy started tlkin 2 me so i hung up - i didnt ave a clue hu it was. Should i send a txt n say STOP ??

Recieved two calls, but didn't pick as i didn't know the number.

They called me today - 31st July 2008 at 14:30ish - and I picked it up. The woman was speaking very quietly and there was a poor signal, and my phone itself bleeped when shewas about 20secs through (which was odd). She then started to ask how much I topped up each month. I said I was fine with Vodafone, and she said, "So, do you not want a better deal?". I said No.
Strangely however, she already knew that my phone was pay-as-you-go.

Same story for me, they called just now and hung up before I answered, I am now signing up to TPS.

I got a call from them asking if i was on pay as you go and if i was over 18!

i hung up.

I want to stop these people calling - is there something we can do from a legal standpoint.
They are so annoying. They have been calling me every day for the past four days. at about 12.11pm, 12.12pm, 12.12pm and 9.44am. I'd like to know if they just randomly call a set of numbers in the hope that there is a person on the other end. I answered the first call and they put the phone down, which makes me think they have an automated dial out computer and if a member of staff is free to speak at the time you pick up they will. I'm just guessing.
There must be someone who knows who they are or how to prevent this. Hell-p

I've got myself 3 calls from the above mentioned number. Just didn't answer. I've heard about other scams where if you answer you pay like a fee. Don't answer and let the bugger waste his time...

This number has called me three times in the last two days, I haven't answered it as I am cautious about numbers that I don't recognise. Who is it and what do they want?

I got loads of calls off this number, rang it early this morning to find out who it was.  It was a company called, Communication direct.  You can email them on sales@cdleurope.com, I intend at some point to email them and tell them not so politely to stop calling my number and give them the number to strike off their list

i was sick for work today so i fort it was my boss ringing me haha i got scared and didnt answer. now im very glad i didnt answer cant believe theere is so much stuff about this number its really weird!!! how do they get your number tho thats just not on!!!!

I'm on Vodafone pay as you go. Luckily didn't answer. They've been calling me about 3 times now. Very annoying!!

A nuisance and gald i didnt answer it

An earlier post on here says that they obtain your numbers via a database then work their way through different networks calling everyone they can try and sell a contract to - looks like they are working their way through the Vodafone list now! This company have called me 14 times in 2 days - telephone preference service for me!

Its not just the vodafone list as I am on O2 and they have been calling me twice a day for the past week.

If it carries on go to the small claims court web site and issue a claim for unauthorised harrassment to their registered company address. If enough people do it we can soon put them out of business and have some of that 1.6 mil they made last year or at least prevent them from trading while they sort out all the claims.

With a little bit of effort and research we can shut these "£^"$%&^ people down.

This company is a mobile phone company, they offer you deals on cellphones, but I would like to know how they get peoples numbers.

they either buy them off the mobile phone companys, randomly dial loads of numbers, or if just that once you didnt untick or tick on that we promise we will sell your details for a huge amount of money to piss you off box
