Vodafone have refused to block the number and have advised that the only way to do this is to 'purchase' a samsung!! I think they are at it too!!

Had calls from both of these. Also a Vodaphone pay-as-you-go customer.

Comms Direct is the company.

I suspect that Vodaphone have sold all their pay-as-you-go phone numbers for cold calling.

Given that this is a national number, be advised you'll pay national rates for the call. Given that I don't recommend hanging around on the call for them to remove your number.

I recieved a call from this number this morning, but didn't answer it as I didn't know the number and was busy at the time.  I'm glad I didn't answer it now that it seems it was a cold call.  Looking back at some of the comments on here it seems quite a few people who are on Vodafone are getting these calls.  I too am a Vodafone PAYT customer, so it does seem that Vodafone might have given out our details, which is a bit annoying.

They called me yesterday and have done so again today. I'm at work so cant answer it anyway

received a message from vodofone saying that i had missed a call from 02920822637. luckily my phone was swiched off at the time.9.30 am

I'm also a Vodafone pay as you go customer and have had 4 of these calls in the last 2 days. Didn't answer any of them as I didn't recognise the number and then one of the calls had 40 at the end instead of 37 so I knew something was up.

On both days I got a call at 11:15AM and then the 2nd was at 3:00PM. Same times both days

I recieve these calls daily, you can register with TPS (and with mobiles i think?) but takes 28days, have yet to catch them when they ring but its been going on for the last 2 weeks, my contract is due in 2 weeks with T-Mob, and judging by there website...claiming to be "best welsh business 2008" is that really a statement people are going to look at and say "wow!" hardly... avoid it cos its more than likely a scam, and looking through the offers they have they aren't any good anyway!!

Had two of these calls this morning and ignored them both, googled and came here. dont know the company, but the owner's (marc winchester brother used to runa  similar company in wansea selling dodgy phone contracts - they went bustandd left loadfs of people out of pocket - AVOID!

Had a missed call from this lot (Comms Direct or is it Cons Direct) today, I have saved the number as 'nuisance' in my phone book so I'll know to igore it when they call again, I too am vodafone PAYT customer

These people have been calling me everyday this week sometimes twice a day, I've not answered and having read this i don't intend to. I'm with 02 and have been for years and have never had any cold calls before now!
