Have recieved this call yesterday and today but have not answered it-they have left no message either... am i doing the right thing?

The Company is Called "Communications Direct". God knows how they got my number as I aint on Pay-As-You-Go but they basically want to sign you onto a contract with 3. Quick Google - http://www.commsdirect.net/

I didnt bother going into further details like how did thye get my number cos like they'd ever tell me. But I wouldnt stress too much about it. If they ring say your really interested but want to know how they got your details.

2 to 3 calls a day, very annoying

Had the same call but didn't pick up as thought the number looked a bit strange. This was my company mobile they called though! Although also with Orange. Reading what you all say I'm guessing they will ring again. I'll pass your comments round work though.

rang me at 11:06 but was to busy to answer

Have had 21 missed calls from this number in the last few days. Didn't answer it as it looked a bit weird & they never left a voicemail or anythingso am glad that I saw this website when I googled it. How do these muppets get our numbers? Am on a pay as you go vodafone number and never give the number to anyone but friends.

Hello, You can register your number here www.tpsonline.org.uk to prevent calls such as this. I believe you can also call them 0845 070 0707. This should prevent marketing companies contacting you on your mobile. I am not sure how long it takes to kick in thought. Best just to answer and tell them to remove your number and if you're called again you'll complain to 3 direct that their 3rd party seller is hassling you. 3 would hate that!

stop ringing me!

Received 2 calls from them in the same day, Phoned them back from my work phone as its ex-directory. A guy from Comms-Direct answered, I just hung up.

I got a missed call form this number - called it back and got a recordign saying they were busy and to hold as the call was important to them....


Hung up as was worried it was a scam!!

I'm on orange also and got the call about 5 minutes ago, just pressed ignore on my phone as I knew it would be nothing important from the look of the number.

Had a call from this number at 5:06pm - called them back a guy answered from communications direct - just hung up.

Got a call from them on my 02 mobile at 9.30.  Missed it, so called them back from my landline and was put in a queue.  Hung up after a minute or so.  Do you think they'll charge me horrible amounts for being put in a queue?  Do I need to report them immediately so that I have a defence against this, or should I let it drop?

ALSO RECEIVED CALL THIS MORNING BUT DIDNT PICK UP IN TIME - WHEN i REALISED IT WAS A CARDIFF NR i RANG BACK AS I WAS EXPECTING A CALL FROM CARDIFF UNI - BUT ALL I HEARD WAS A MASS OF PEOPLE ON ACALL LINES.
