Market research group, calls at night. Wants 15 minutes of my time. No thanks.

They called again.

Surveytalk called three times this morning and I let all their calls go to VM. To help identify when this market research firm calls, I've programmed/assigned a special ring tone (soft alert tone) to their incoming CID so I know when not to pick it up and that's if I can hear it - hahaha.

My ph number is registered with www.donotcall.gov.au for about 2 months and a lot of other annoying calls from other firms have ceased.

This number has already called 3 times in past couple of hours and did same thing another evening recently - they are persistant! I have caller ID so don't pick up. My phone number has been registered with donotcall.gov.au since that was set up.

I keep getting calls from this number over the weekends but never answer it because I'm always working. glad to know where it's coming from and definitely not to answer in the future.

this number keeps coming up on my  mobile I just dont answer it,  yesterday they rang 3 times and I am starting to get annoyed at it.  Is there away we can stop this??

This number continues to call me at least once every other week despite being listed on the DoNotCall register for over a year now.

Do not call is for marketing, not surveys and research. Hence they aren't in breach by calling you.

Stupid market research company called Survey Talk. Supposedly their contact number is 02 9267 1555, although I know I've tried to call it back an no answer. Nice work 'do not call register'.

yer i just had this call too. i let it go to msg bank. but they didnt leave one. i checked here to see who it was, glad i checked on the net first. bloody annoying people.

they call u cause its there job and they dnt know that u dnt want them to call u unlees u answer ur phone and say dnt call me again, then that company puts u on do not call list but it dnt stop other companies calling u

They use different numbers to trick you including 0421 547931 and 02 8079 4700. Three calls today since 8am Sunday on a private mobile. I wish they'd get a real job.

I don't have callerID, so I answered. Indian sounding woman asked me for 15 minutes of my time to answer a survey. I Said OK, thinking it would satisfy them. She said "this may be recorded for coaching..." then asked only the following; Confirm the state (Qld), confirm the postcode, how many people in my household, the agegroup of the people in my household. And that was it. A pretty short 15 minutes. Really, anyone from a petty criminal to a multinational company could use that info for targeting households.I hope these people are on the level. If they call again, I will politely ask them not to call in future.

Legally, they are able to call you as they do not associate with telemarketing services. They are simply surveys and market research. If you had an issue with the calls, just pick up the phone and tell them not to call anymore and they'll stop. Simple minded people.
