who called?

The caller was from a Weight Loss Program - Val's Weightloss or something, they said that I did a survey regarding weight loss and they wanted me to call them back.

This is the Australian Menopause Clinic - not a scam.

It is a scam.  I did not do any survey for women's health.  In fact something did come up and I ticked the no box.  It's a scam  to get your number and then they annoy you constantly.

I also got a call and after speaking to them I realized that the call was initiated due to an online survey I did on another irrelevant site that must have sold my details to them.  They happily removed me from their list.

I had the same experience as Diana.  I had done an online survey on another site and they must have sold my details to the Australian Menopause Centre.
The lady I spoke to explained to me how it works and the fact that they had to make contact with me as I had indicated I was experiencing Menopause symptoms but she was happily able to remove me from their database (careful not the company that sold my info to them; I had to spend significant amount of time to stop them from on selling my data to others!) and I did not receive any further calls from the Australian Menopause Centre.

I suspect Maria is a shill but I will use her post to warn women about the Australian Menopause Centre.  The physician running it was successfully prosecuted in the Federal Court by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission for misleading and deceptive conduct.  You can read the entire story here:

If you receive a call from this number or this institute you would do well to block the number and ignore the call.
