Same thing just happened to me, no message, just the one missed call.

Who is this person please

Had a few more missed calls from them, finally managed to answer today and it's the Ministry of Health in NSW. When she asked if I was a resident of NSW and I said no, she apoligised and said she had the wrong number.

I've had three missed calls from this number over the last couple of weeks.

They called me this morning at 7 am.

I'm glad I ignored it... my sleep IS beneficial to my health, after all.

I have doubts that calls from this number are official. I had similar "hang up" calls from another number over a period of several months last year. I tracked it to some asian-based telemarketing gang from memory. Now it's starting all over again with this number. Whatever you do - don't answer, it just gives them confirmation that the number is active & it becomes more frequent. Ignore it & it will go away....eventually....sigh!

I've had 7 missed calls from this number and have no motivation to answer it. After googling the number it came up as the NSW Health department (I am a Victorian citizen) so I don't plan to answer.

Looks like a scam to me. Missed a call from them but why would NSW ministry of Health call a victorian phone? Would be a really stupid mistake... they wouldn't need to put in an area code to call a NSW number.

I have received these call too. Seems very strange indeed. I called the number back to see if it was the NSW ministry of Health - sure enough it was. Strange.

Got a call from these guys today- didn't introduce themselves properly but turned out to be a 15 min pretty random question health survey on behalf of govt health dept. Was a bit suspicious but no "dangerous" info given. What they gauge from the scattergun questions asked- who knows...

Third time this week after a few months... I've now saved the number under the name "Dodge! Don't Answer!"

These clowns keep calling me and hanging up all hours of the night!

I can't believe that a Government Department would be so persistent with questionairres.They have rung me at a few grossly inconvenient times and I told them to go away, but they still try.  Is it really the Health Department ? - they said they were the "Ministry of Health" which title I equate to a religious cult. Aren't there laws to prevent nuisances calls, even from Government Departments.

Just got a call from this number (02) 94245700. It seems they are calling to all 3 mobil phone numbers. What I did was save the number on my contact list then clicked 'Block this number' that way if they call me the call will never get through...

I just got a missed call from  02 9424 5700 on my mobile about 5 mins ago. Called back, same story. Ministry of Health in NSW is doing a survey. I asked her to remove me from their list since I am in SA. She said ok, I will.
