Accor Advantage Plus - membership etc

Very polite on phone but when asking if there was someway to verify the details as I was not about to give my credit card details to an unknown entity, was given the above number to call back on. I asked if I could go online & was told they don't advertise. A quick phone call to Accor gave me a website to check.

Got pretty much conned into buying a membership from these guys for their 'premier' hotel rewards programme. I asked how much it was and the guy replied 'twennynine' which I took to mean $29 but when I checked my bank it was $289!! I tried to call back on the above number he told me was his 'direct line' but it was a general number that wouldn't put me through to anyone.

Total con artists.

Accor selling a package. I told them I was not interested. Still persisted with their sales speel.
They rang me back twice that day after I hang up on them  Then rang again the following day.
I am trying to get through to their corporate office to have my number removed and to stop the harrasment from them

I received three calls from this number to my mobile today. It read Hi charmaine its Zoe from Accor Hotels.....i dont answer numbers i dont know. I googled it and found this. I never actually spoke to anyone so maybe they wont ring again but thought i would leave this note as well.

They call me often but I have this number as a blacklist so it diverts to my message bank

"Zoe from Accor Hotels and Resorts" asking me to call her back - this is an investment con so tell them to #*!" Off. I have Accor membership but not interested in another call on my business number from another globally desperate company. Serves me right for giving them my real number I suppose! Will jump online and change the digits..

Recieved a missed house phone call from this number today and judging by the number of people with bad reviews, I'm glad I missed out if they were going to attempt to drag me into stupid marketing nonsense.

I got the phone call to my work mobile yesterday and I hardly can understand his English. Already told the guy I am not interested then he started asking if I can give him a contact person to offer the opportunity. I refused but he kept insisted. At last I said it's rude for me to give away my friend's contact detail without their permission and it is not right!. then hang up. I received another call today from this number but I did not pick up. I'll put this number as 'Don't answer' on my phonebook.

I received a call today at 4:30pm on a very old (2001-04) inactive mobile hand set (of mine) with prepaid SIM (may receive txt on it but the Reply is damaged) so held up from answering.
Next, I was so urged to check the number as my area code plus suburb code are (02) 9896 which in a hurry I thought same as the number my mobile screen.

I just got an unsolicited call from this number today. This is somewhat annoying as we are on the Do No Call Registry. Although, they do have the decency to have Caller ID turned on and consistently using the same number.

I just misssed a call from this number. Didn't answer but they left a message. Apparently one of my friends gave them my number? Find it a bit strange.

Got a missed call with no message from this number. Google'd it to see if i should bother calling back, glad that i found this website because now i know its Accor telemarketing -- not interested!!

Been calling me 4-9 times a day, Accor trying to upsell me their upgraded package, won't take no as an answer, calling more now I don't answer

Got a call from this number today and for the last few days. A guy posing as a telemarketer and trying to get me to give my credit card details to him over the phone saying that I can get huge savings on accomodation booking over the internet.

He wouldn't send me emails of the details nor were there any other way that I could contact me on. Seems that this scam has been going on for awhile now.

I think these guys look on facebook for friends list and use social media to do some recon first. BE VERY WARY!!!

Received a call from this number about membership package this afternoon, and I had just enrolled their membership program three weeks ago after staying in one of the Accor hotels. I have another hotel membership with IGH for over ten years, but never receive a sales call.

I receive a phone call from 02 9685 4000 which I did not answer.   There is strong and reasonable suspicion that this number is related to Facebook scam/hack.

026854000 called several times today, the number came up on my mobile. Didn't recognise it but finally answered. it was a bright sparky woman from ACOR wanting to make all my dreams come true by providing me accommodation at any of their 600 hotels "at a fraction of the price".  When she started asking questions about where and when i wanted my next trip i cut her off and said i would call back (i won't).  these too good to be true offers always are...
i have read the other messages about requests for credit card details etc... never got that far but would not have provided to an unsolicited caller anyway.

I just got a brand new phone last night and a new number. I haven't set the phone up yet and no one has the contact number for it, yet these people called me at 9am, less than 12hrs after I got the phone!
