I have had numerous calls from this number and when i call back it beep beep beeps then go's off line??

Received three calls already today before lunch and when i try to call back i get nothing.

same here went thru to mobile and rang back...nuthin

I had same thing yesterday - very strange.  I think it must be some kind of cold call marketing.

I have this number ring most nights and no answer, when I pick the call up, can't all back as if it is engaged

This person/s has called me numerous times & hanging up, its very annoying.

Same thing for me here.  Don't say anything when I answer, just hang up.  When I try to call back my call accepts, so I get charged for it but it just disconnects as soon as it goes thru.  Perhaps it is a scam to get us to ring them back.

This sod of a person phones up and then hangs up. For the moment I haven't hung up and think i might leave thephone off the hook for the rest of the night. If I am correct in my belief it ties their phone up as I've not broken the connection. if true "O what a nice bill they will receive"

Same here. Just got the call, googled it and got this....any answers to who this is or what company? When i pick up the phone all i get is an engaged signal

I've been getting calls nearly everyday from this number.
They do not leave a message. I haven't tried calling it back.

Yet another one, same M.O. Have had a few calls LIKE this, but this is the first time I've bothered to investigate the number.

I only got two hits for the number on a search, and the other one was basically the same deal as this: a list of people describing someone calling them, saying nothing, and hanging up after a few seconds (my phone counted 7 seconds duration).

I'm sure someone derives some form of productivity from the practise...

We have had this number ring several times over the past weeks. I am glad I googled the number as I find I am not alone. Now I will right down this number and if it rings I will pick it up and then hang up. This will cost them and not me.

been getting calls from this number everytime i answer they hang up.

This number has rung us, and same thing, when we answer they hang up.
As we have caller ID, now we don't answer when it rings.

i rang back - its epilepsy action - asking for money

Called me today and I am in Victoria asking for donations.  Is Epilepsy Action of Australia (http://www.epilepsy.org.au/).

I've also had numerous calls from this number - when I answer I'm met with silence so I hang up.  Today when I answered I heard a female voice in the background say "just give up" - it sounded like a commercial call centre.

Thanks to this site I won't bother answering in future - I'd prefer to support charities who operate with different practices and within my own state (Tas).
