This number called me, as an automotive dealer in Durban. I wanted to buy a Toyota Quantum, i deposited R45 000, when i went to Durban, the address does not exist and no one picks up the fone. I need to know as to whom does this number belong.

I am sorry you were ripped off.  I was able to prevent a staff member from losing his money.  He used my fax to email to receive documents.  I glanced over them and alarm bells started ringing for me so I looked over the documents very carefully.  There were several things that didn't gel.  Too many variations in the company name.  No contact numbers on the letterhead but on the offer to purchase.  There were no details on the offer to purchase of the vehicle, i.e. engine number, VIN number and Reg. No. had N/A.  The deal was also calculated by them and not through a finance company.  The interest rate was 9% which seemed rather low.  The deposit was to be paid within 24 hours.  The monthly instalment was calculated at R1 900 per month which was bizarre as the purchase price was R91 200 over 48 months which equals R1 900.  What about the 9% interest!  I thank you Miya for posting this as I was able to show him the comments.  I hope that others are spared losing their hard earned money.
