I was in my office when I received a call in today on 31/3/2014. A lady claiming to be from insurance company, and said my name had been shortlisted from CIMB. A Takaful scheme, RM60/month.
The line was very noisy. I initially thought my new phone was lousy (I forgot to test the calls) and thus was distracted during the 1-way conversation.

I actually agreed to buy that insurance. She said the policy hardcopy will be sent in a month's time after the first payment. The payment will be a direct debit transaction.

I received this kind of call twice before, one from CIMB-affiliate and another from BSN-affiliate. I should have checked the details then.

Confirm ya bro? I just got a call from this number couple of minutes ago but I didn't pick it up. This number has been calling me like 5 times now since mid last week. Very annoying la.

Received a call from this number 5 minutes ago. When I want to call back, it's not in service. Very wiered.

When I try call back its said not in service.
Please be carefull.

It's a scam bro. You should clear your cimb/linked account immediately before they deduct the exact amount from your account. Just let the account empty for 3-4months before you use it back. It already happened to me before.

sya pun dpt pngilan dri nombor ni jgk,slama 5 kali sya x angkat dalam 2 minggu nie,kli ke 6iaitu hri nie sya minta mak sya jawab.katanya dri cimb,minta maklumat peribadi,nama,no ic,no account.perempuan yg bcakap.lepas tu marah2 bila mak sya x bgi maklumat yang dia nak.hati2 semua.

she just said '' this calling will be record'' …then i just turn off the phone...haha….i had asked with maybank and cimb workers, about this calling and internet online banking….bank will not call or sent u any e-mel ,,except bank will send a letter to ur home…and please make sure after using an online banking cimbclikcs/m2u log out,,,clean the cache & return home….

i also just got this call today...but,when i try call it back..it doesn't answer.."the number you have dail is not inservice"..i wonderr...
