Young Indian boy called from that number, claims to be calling from HSBC, offering cash advance against credit card. Din accept cos he was trying to be pushy, said the promo will end "soon", can't even wait for one more hour. May be the real thing, but not taking the chance.

I got this phone number calling and hang up ...
Seems like some pranks call ...

Beware when receive 03- 2059 9400. I received this phone number from an Indian lady right now, saying that I have not activate my credit card facility  and wanted me to activate right now by trying to dig my credit card information. I am not sure if this call really from HSBC. I have been using this card for 8 years without issue and able to use in Europe too. I am not sure what kind of facility she referring to. I personally think that credit card information is a very personal matter. If a bank really want us to activate certain thing, the bank will send us a formal letter to inform us. There are many tricks in our society now and we must be careful when receiving a call from a stranger.

just add into "don't answer list", don't waste your time talking to them!

I received this call too from hsbc. Does anyone know how to remove yourself from this list? They seem to call very frequently.

Yes, it is from HSBC, they call me every month, if you didnt pick up call..they can call you everyday! Going to cancel this card soon.

I've received this call from a lady named Nor. She's asked me to send a copy of salary slip in order to update the data for HSBC Credit Card which I've used since 2004. She claimed that the data is not updated & also as a token of appreciation for being long-time user, she even offer me a rebate once the data has been updated.

Instead of sending her the copy of pay slip, I've called HSBC Customer Service who advice me to update all the data online (i.e. through HSBC Online).

Seem the lady trying to use data of salary slip of customer to CON into something. just BE EXTRA CAREFUL

Got this annoying call every weeks!!!! Its from HSBC, promotion on everything (each time they call they promote different product ie insurance, cash advance, saving, bla bla bla. They are very desperate and will not give up and keep on calling you. If you refused to accept their offer, they will ask you why?

Other related numbers are 0320584200 & 0320584000. Today, I've visit my local HSBC branch, pay and terminate/close all my account. If they call me again, I'll make a police report.
