I just called to Menara Maybank. They told me 0320708844 is not their number, they are only 8833.

They said from OCBC.

It's from debt collector. They will call to your emergency contact and claim that they are from legal department / lawyer firm. Another number they use is 0123291377. I owe Maybank credit card...

This debt collector? I hv credit card with maybank..long time not made the payment..this no keep calling me. Asking me tu made full settlement if not they will pass this case to law firm to take action. Is that true?

I got a call from this number earlier today, its a debt collector on behalf of Digi...but a weird one... and old case from 2013 to a phone number that is not under my name but ''Digi'' claims otherwise... When asked to send an official letter by Digi stating I did own the said number and I do owe them that amount, I would gladly pay...she instead said takpe la..she is a 3rd party and cant issue out letter for Digi and end the call....So weird! She did however ask me to go to a digi centre to clarify this matter....??

This is a debt collector agency P&A smart solution. This is the service most bank and other company uses when they failed to get their payment. All your information from the bank is passed to this guys. They will disguise themself as lawyer/bank representative to scare you into paying the debt. Normally will say they will sue you, call your home, call the company you work for to inform of legal case that you are involved in. Get you scare by telling that they can get you terminated from your job, visit your house,etc..... in short, this is ah long service. My advise, walk to the branch and propose your repayment to get this sort out.

If no payment receive by their propose date, then they will visit my house. This worst than AhLong service. Of course, because they got commission once card holder make the payment. Best alternative is propose repayment directly with bank to sort out.

False Number. Its not working. Try calling that number again. Scam. No job Debt Collector maybe.
