a guy claiming from Maybank. Called and told me I just swiped over 5k with my Maybank credit card no ********* and said I have 2 months outstanding not paid. When I told him I will call back to the bank for more info as I donot own a Maybank card he quickly ended the conversation.

Hello i also got the same phone call from a guy from this number claiming the same thing. He can spell my name correctly. When i googled for this number this number is exactly the same number as maybank credit card collection center. He even told me if I don;t believe i can go to maybank branch. Dont know what is his motive

yes, just received the same call from a guy and claim that i own Maybank 5k and 2 months not paid. I don't own the card and ask him what product of my credit card, he mumbo jumbo then end the call quickly. SCAM CALL. Beware. Going to report to Maybank.

This afternoon i also received call from this number , they telling that i swipe 5k at kepong , i straight away say i am busy, i hang up then i contact Maybank center

exactly the same as what had happened to you all. and he speaks Chinese. I was wondering if its calling from maybank, the caller should speaking english...

I got the same call and the guy started in Mandarin. I replied in English and he has a shock. He told me the same story that I owe about RM5k. I just did my banking the day before so I was very sure I had no payments overdue and told him no. He got taken back and just ended my call abruptly.

it's a fraud! the mandarin speaking guy claimed that I owed RM5K+ to maybank master card for 2 months, then i hang up his phone...

This morning I am also received the call by saying I am holding maybank master card no XXXXXX and so on .. Card was approved in July 23 and I already spent out 5.8k and didn't pay for 2 months and by 10.30am they will file a court case. I told them I didn't have such card and they said then my personal details was used by others. I just quickly checked on the no and found out that it's scam. Firstly I already suspected due to the lady talked in mandarin. Beware

Exactly same thing happened. But from a chinese speaking woman.

I received a call from the same no. too. Caller claiming his name as Lim Tek Hua. Same conversation. Don't believe what he told you, is a scam. When I asked for his IC no for verification, he hang out. See !

I also received the call from a chienese guy by saying I am holding maybank master card no XXXXXX and so on .. Card was approved in July 13 and the card is apply at Maybank, Kepong, and I already spent out 5.8k and didn't pay for 2 months . He also can read out my correct ic no. And he also said they got my monthly pay slip, and said i m working at a panasonic company. But the pay slip and the place of work not mine. The guy ask me to go to Maybank HQ at KL to do the report if the card is not belong to me. Same as some friends here I told them I didn't have such card and they said then my personal details was used by others. I ask him to give me his name, then he said his name is---- LIM TEK HUA. When i ask for I/C no, then he ignore to give me.
He want me to make a report to bank negara immediately , then he will fax my card detail to Bank Negara too. The Bank Negara Phone no that he gave me is 03-21683766.

I hv just received a call 10 mins ago from this number saying tht I owe Maybank RM5K+ . I told the caller,  a lady who spoke in Mandarin, that I don't hv a Maybank credit card. She said she is calling fr Menara Maybank. I told her that I would check with Maybank myself but she told me that other Maybanks cannot detect this amount that I owe. Only the Menara Maybank can do so. I thanked her out of courtesy and quickly ended the call.
