A machine voice claim from Ambank said that i have outstanding of some crazy amount for my credit card. Unfortunately for them i dont have ambank account. So i shut the phone.

I just received call from the same number with the same info

Yes i just got the same damn call too from am bank, i had the account before but i had cancelled it two years back.. prank call

Receive call from nbr 03 2078 2177 asking to aprove transaction amounting RM3,900.00
I dont hv any transaction for that amount. So i opt to speak to customer care consultant ( press 9) .
When speaking to customer care (a chinese guy answered)  but sounds so unconvincing. I hang up.

Same goes to me. I didnt answer the call but hear the voicemail. Oh God. The crap started again.
Last time I experience this on TM unifi billing. Its a scam.

Yup…got the same call as well. Put down the phone when they started asking for my information. Definite scam.

Just received call from the same number 03 2078 2177,  said from Am Bank, asking to make confirmation of a credit card transactions, I don't have Am Bank account so I press end call button, terminate the call...

I encounter same incident. When I told him I don't have any ambank credit card, he direct hang off thephone.

Lol yeah me too, but i said "better luck next time" stupid scammer.

received the same call today  saying...from ambank...RM3800. i was in meeting, so i ended the call

I received the same call also this morning....asking to confirm the transaction of RM3,800 for AM Bank credit card.....

All seemed to be of the same amount 3K plus. Can't any kind of investigation and action be taken? There is bound to be some unsuspecting soul who will be unfortunate enough to kena!!

I received a call from the very same no. ask me to confirm on AmBank credit card transaction amounting RM3K+ and when I press 9 to speak to the operator (chinese guy), he transferred me to "BNM" and the "BNM" is an Indian guy. He said BNM office will contact me soon.. on this fraud case (credit card transaction)

I received the same call twice. From the chinese ah lian accent I knew straight away it's scam
