I have just received a call and they are calling me from this number: 03- 2175 4888. Modus operandi is exactly the same.

Just recently, they called and mentioned that I am a lucky draw winner from a Food Fair which I visited in January 2012 in Mid Valley and that they are offering me a 3D/2N stay anywhere in Langkawi, Cameron, etc courtesy of the Mines Palace of the Golden Horses. Said that I only need to allocate one hour for a private tour, will be treated to a welcome drink, and he even spoke in fluent English and provided all my details correctly! When I asked why did u only inform me of this lucky draw offer in May when the event was in Jan, he said that it's because he specially handled my case and his staff lost my form previously. Luckily I googled and found that they have been calling ppl using 03-2175 4999. I guess to avoid detection, they use 03-2175 4888 and nothing came up in Google since it's a relatively "new" number used for scamming.

Thereafter, they sent me an sms with the voucher details using this number : 016-2231132 and asked me to contact them once I reach the hotel lobby. Thank goodness I felt that something wasn't right. So ppl, pls beware and don't simply fill out forms in Lucky Draw contests, not even in BIG EVENTS in BIG VENUES. I did that in Mid Valley, Food Fair and they got the info from there.

I called up Palace of The Golden Horses at Tel: (+60)3-8946 4888, and they told me to call 03-8941 1999 saying that this is smth organized by the Palace Vacation Club. So it is probably an event organized to influenced the weak-hearted to sign up with their programs etc. Do so at your own risks as there are some ppl who have encountered unpleasant experiences with them. Do a search on the Internet and be an informed consumer.

Same goes to me. They mentioned I won a lucky draw from this Pesta Buku event (recently held at PWTC). The claimed to give out free vouchers and ask me to come to Palace Golden Horses for 1 hour event. They provide dinner + free cruise on that day. At first, I've thought of going there and tried to google their number as well. Luckily found this webpage. I don't think it a scam, but most probably they are tele-marketers. But yeah, if I won those lucky draw, why not their just post it to me? Why I need to go there and stay for 1hour event then later baru got those voucher.Logic?

then he refuse to send me email. i dont know why ler :s . i will ignore him btw

Yes, it is an organized scam. I was cheated to sign up for the health program with poor management of my membership.
Not worth it. I'm still trying to sell my membership. Biggest mistake ever! 13k lump sum payment with RM600 renewal membership for 10 years. I was silly, just don't be like me.

Just receive phone call from this nombor, they mention about palace of golden palace just finish a renovation and would like to let me and my wife have a free stay for 3 day 2 night.

I also received a few calls from this number. Said the same thing about finished reno. Want to give me a trip to show me around and if I have platinum visa card just show and can get free stays to choose from a few hotels. The weird thing is, I tried to call back many times bug no one ever pick up the phone.

I got a call from this number but didn't pick up in time, so it went to voice mail. The caller (a lady) said good afternoon and then right away asked me to return call to 01128372415. She did not identify herself. I guess I won't be calling back!

Same case. Liar number. Block it this number.
