got a call from a woman claimed she's from CIMB and offered me takaful policy:i'm a lucky person she said - explaining everything n asking 4 acc. no. address etc. need 2 pay rm50 jer to get all benefits!

got a miscol from this number also but cannot call back. now i know its from cimb. thanx

i got the same problem here. but a guy call me.my question is ,is it true its from CIMB TAKAFUL?

A man just call me 5 min ago. He asked for my IC and account number. I did give my IC but i didnt give the account number as i began to suspect the guy. If he is from CIMB, why did he need my account number? I said i didnt have the account number and have to call me back tomorrow.

also receive call from this no..claiming from COMB TAKAFUL..once i said..not intersted..he like want to "marah"..what the heck..

i got a call from this number yesterday offer takaful health pro from cimb aviva.. after google, there is no such takaful health pro from aviva.. the package is cheaper than other takaful insurans but offer better compensation.. quite suspicous.. can anybody share more info? thx

Me too this morning... but when I say hello, they turn off the phone... they are bloody stupid attitude, waisting my time and my voice to answer their call...

i got called too.. lucky i didnt pick up the call.. when i called back, said there is no such number in the service.. what the heck!

I received and claimed that is calling on behalf of SCB, claimed the call is recorded but not willing to disclose the identity of the company.

Hence, please do not proceed to disclose any of the information as under PDPA in Malaysia we have the right to protect our personal data such as IC or credit card number.

I also just receive a call from this num 03-21827600 and 1st she claim that calling from Standard Chartered and then she talk about insurance and said this is related with MSIG

Received call from this number today. She claimed that she was from CIMB takaful. Selling insurance!!! Start asking for my personal data which I refused to give it to her. The stupid woman then ask me why I dont want to give my personal data? I hang-up lah. wasting my time!!

I just get the call from this number. another number this morning is 0327225678. The one in the morning said it is on behalf of Reader Digest while just now is on behalf of Standard Charted. Both is selling insurance by Chartis. They straight away as my profession. I told her that I have the right that to do not disclose the information before I accepting the deal. Then she start to say she need to know that to ensure whether I entitled to the deal of not. I told her that I don't feel I can't trust them as this morning said I am lucky reader of reader digest then now lucky customer for Standard Chartered. So she said thank you and end the line

Very simple if the caller not willing to disclose the company identify, how can we accept what they offering and disclose the information to them.

They are not from CIMB, Standard Chartered.......but a group of people using the Big Name to lessen the doubt.

Best way to deal with them
- Don't disclose any information
- Tell them you have the right to protect any information of yourself.
- Tell them you have no interest on their offerring

an indian claim that calling from standard charted selling insurance....

it is cimb takaful. ive suscribe to it before and receive the documents. but ive stop it cuz it is only insurance. i prefer both insurance + investment.
