Call from Hong Leong Bank credit card, promote insurance. Unhappy with the conversation because feels like cursed.

I answered the call, claimed to be from Citibank selling some sort of insurance.

Claimed to call on behalf of OAC, overseas assurance corporation, Chinese girl speaking mandarin. Seemed to get info from OCBC. Said there is a insurance plan which costs only RM23 a month, you can claim for money as long as staying in hospital for more than 12 hours. Claim up to RM200, and entitled for RM700 allowance. Also, if you are in overseas, as long as you are admitted to a registered hospital, u can claim for the fees.

You only need photostat copies of the documents or receipts to claim money.

Well, guess it's not a scam??

come on... again... really hate to pick up this kind of call...

Based on what everybody mentioned here, I dun have HLB nor Citibank cards

i answered the call. n the malay girl said tat she is calling from Public Bank. bt i heard a lot of noise at the back, some kind like celebrating something. then, when i asked a lot of questions, she seems asking help from someone beside. then i reject the offer...

i got 2 missed call from this number just now...
and i think this call are from the tele-marketing company that represent most of the company mention above

i also have received this call, but call from alliance insurance....
i try to call back ...the line is not in service ==

i have the call, promote the insurance too, but the lady said is bcoz my bank simpanan nasional (BSN, one kind of bank in malaysia)

This number keep calling and keep silent when answered. The number hangup after a few second.

It should be a number of a telemarketing centre. Therefore, u will be introduced with different kind of plans, be it insurance or credit card.

Got call from this number three times today ! dun bother to answer it. Last time it was from CitiBank if not mistaken

missed call. tried to call back but the owner has barred all incoming calls

Got these calls from 03-2383 6555, 03-2719 6800 and 03-2268 2188.
She said is from public bank and I can enjoy the credit card waiver fee free for life.
Then she fax in the form and also email the form to me to fill in.
But their fax number is 03-2166 8799  WHICH IS BELONGS TO KL CITY UNITRUST.
I don't know what they want to do and what is their plan.
Anyone can tells?
